As a resident of Parkwood Apartments, I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Edgar from the maintenance team. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication to problem-solving are truly outstanding. the persistent dishwasher issue remained unresolved, but Mr. Edgar tackled it with patience, skill, and deep technical knowledge—effortlessly solving what had seemed like an unsolvable mystery.

Beyond his technical abilities, Mr. Edgar takes great pride in his work, ensuring that every repair is completed to the highest standard. His attention to detail and commitment to resident satisfaction make him an invaluable asset to the Parkwood community. If you ever require maintenance assistance, you can trust that you are in the best hands with him.

Once again, I found myself relying on the wonderful property staff at Parkwood Apartments, where I've lived for over seven and a half years. This place has been home not just for me, but also for my son, whom I've chosen to raise in this community, and I can confidently say he's better for it. Last night, we were faced with an emergency situation that required the fire department and 911. As the responders were leaving, they advised me to contact the leasing office as soon as possible. Thankfully, I was already in touch with security, who was busy filing a report about the incident. Just ten minutes later, Vincent, a member of the maintenance crew, showed up at my door. He assessed the situation and immediately took care of the repairs, all while making sure I felt comfortable. He asked if he was intruding on my time, and I was taken aback—how could I possibly be bothered by his help? I was incredibly grateful for his quick response and support. After that, I connected with Edgar, the head maintenance man. Then, once the leasing office opened for the day, I spoke with Mr. Russell Scott. Each of them treated me with kindness, providing the information I needed and showing genuine care. Their combined support transformed what felt like an overwhelming and damaging situation into something manageable. I realized that with their help, my son and I could get through this. Without their assistance, I honestly don’t know how I would have navigated everything. Their caring attitudes were a lifeline during a really tough moment, reminding me how truly fortunate we are to have such dedicated people looking out for us in this community.

I’m very pleased to have spoken with Russell Scott, the Community Relations Rep., this morning. He was both knowledgeable and friendly. As a new resident, I truly appreciate his patience in explaining the app for managing the monthly rent and misc service fees. We have been living here almost 2 years now and love these older apartments. There are some cons that come with the older apartments like no central air or in unit laundry but the extra space, extra thick walls, location, and great staff outweigh the bad. Every issue I have had has been resolved quickly and with great communication and care. Specific shout outs to the assistant manager Jarrad for his great customer service and communication skills and Jose (Joe) on the maintenance team that has absolutely killed the quality of repairs and requests by being super friendly.

I would absolutely recommend this complex to friends and have tried to get a bunch of friends to come live here.

My roommates have been living here since March 2023. The move-in process was seamless, largely in part to the supportive and cooperative staff in the leasing office.

This year, due to last minute circumstances, we had to downsize to another unit within the complex. Within a week, Jared in the leasing office was able to walk us through the transfer process. We were meeting with him daily, at times multiple times a day, with what seemed to be a million questions. Jared consistently supported us with a positive attitude and thoroughly explained all of our options. As of now, it has been almost a month since moving and we are very grateful for Jared’s help during the VERY stressful time. We would also like to shoutout Jonah who would help us at the same high standard when Jared was out of the office.

Thank you to the Parkwood team for maintaining a very pleasant community and the leasing office reps for being so easy to work with. We are very glad we chose this community.
