Sehr freundliches Personal und saubere moderne Zimmer in einer wunderschönen kleinen Stadt. Das WiFi läuft Stabil, beim Check-in gibt es gratis Wasser und die Lage ist gut. Die Straße, die am Motel vorbei führt ist relativ stark befahren und das hört man etwas, mich persönlich hat es aber nicht gestört. Ich würde wieder kommen!

Staff were very nice, but it's a motel in a high traffic area with lots of vehicle noise. The room was decent and it seemed like they were trying given the decor/furnishings, but also didn't leave the heater on so as we checked in we froze for the 1st 20-30 minutes until it warmed up.

Probably won't return.

Great location for cheap. The AC is close and strong. The bathroom looks newly renovated. Plently of great lighting. We showed up late and there was plenty of parking. The front desk were very nice people.

First, let me say that I might give it 3.5 stars but I just couldn't say 4*. It's wayyy better than 2*|Know that it is totally a motel and the rooms are smallish. The reviews that mention road noise aren't wrong--there's a lot of road noise, and it woke me several times And, sure, there was a guy sitting outside a room when we checked in around 4, but I'll presume it was his room. I didn't feel unsafe.|However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was updated, and the staff was friendly. I don't ask for much more from a motel room. |I think all rooms are on the second story as cars park underneath rooms. That adds a bit of safety and reduces crawling bugs--yay! Maybe they could add something (roll-down blinds on the walkway at night? curtains along with blinds in the room?) that muffles the road noise, maybe not. |If I'm just passsing thru Auburn or generally am not expecting to stay in the room for long, I'd definitely stay here again.

I cannot rave enough about this motel. I've lived in downtown Auburn for years but had to move away. I come back every week to visit my son and always stay at the Elmwood. The managers are awesome. Very accommodating and super nice! The staff is amazing! The rooms are very clean, all the way down to the towels and bedding. I highly recommend the Elmwood. They deserve 10 stars.

Got the job done for a last minute stop. Check in was easy and the man who checked us in was really friendly. Rooms were basic so don't expect too much, which you shouldn't anyway with the super affordable price.

My choices were this place or the Holiday Inn nearby. The price for the HI was more than 100 more so took the gamble here. The front desk lady was very nice and offered some water. The room was in the smaller side but clean. I would recommend bringing ear plugs if road noise bothers you. But my overall sleep was actually great. The Wi-Fi was also solid enough to game on. The price and location also makes it worth staying.
