My wife and I just got back from an outstanding honeymoon vacation on Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge! This place is like none other. The hospitality, friendliness and attention to every little detail is what sets them apart from everyone else. We were scheduled to be there for 4 full days and 4 nights, some challenging weather made our departure a day later which was okay by us as we had budgeted some buffer days on the front and back end of the trip in case we encountered that. The Chalet is awesome! Clean and very comfortable with all the comforts of home. I don’t even know where to start with the food… absolutely delicious, fresh, home made better-than-restaurant-quality meals! From breakfast, to appetizers, to dinner and desert, everything was absolutely delicious. We fished for three days and kayaked one day. Hillary did a fantastic job guiding us on the kayak tour, we saw many otters and eagles. The fishing was outstanding, both Captain Brian and Captain Bob know how to put you on the fish! We encountered some bad weather on the last day which limited where we could fish but that’s no one’s fault other than Mother Nature. Plus, Captain Brian still put us on some great fishing spots and everyone got their fish. I can’t say enough great things about Birch, Tiffany and the whole KRIRL team, this trip is a must for anyone looking for the true remote(yet comfortable) Alaska experience. We will definitely be back!

This was absolutely one of the best trips ever from the scenery, the fishing, hospitality to every experience across the board. Birch, Tiffany and the team were amazing! Brian our captain was the man! He was a great guy to take us around and make the day epic. Can’t wait to book again. Was worth every grain throughout the trip. Love everything about the place. Sauna was excellent, jacuzzi was relaxing and don’t even think I did all that I could. The cabins were roomy, accommodating and a good break from a long day. Book now or miss out!

We keep going back, that says a lot when you have fished a number of places over many years. Our cabins was solid, comfortable upholstered rockers looking with great view. Nice to have a private cabin with ensuite bath rather than lodge (motel) style rooms sharing a bath. Outstanding food with pared wines, including crab 15 minutes from the crab pot to the beach where it was cooked and consumed with local beer:) Wonderful staff, comfortable and fast boats, solid fishing gear. Fishing is as close as 15 minutes or as far as they needed to go to put us on fish. They went to great lengths to put us on fish, and while we always have good days, some have been exceptional, just the way a great trip works. KRIRL is a remote lodge where you can get away from the rest of the world, so much so that we rarely saw other lodge boats when fishing, just what we want in an Alaska fishing trip. They know what they are doing, and it shows. Birch & Tiffany really want you to have a trip that will make you want to come back and go to great lengths to make that happen.

This was an incredible experience. The scenery alone is breathtaking, but coupled with the friendly staff, incredible food, and plethora of fish, Raspberry Island Lodge provides the absolute best Alaskan experience. The lodge was very accommodating and we got over 200 lbs of fillets in one day (in a group of six people). I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an excellent Alaskan fishing getaway.

Great experience fishing in Alaska! The lodge owners and crew do an incredible job with the fishing boats, equipment, schedule, lodging, and meals. The meals are always delicious and there’s plenty to eat. Even though we had a couple of days with challenging wind, we caught fish everyday. Halibut, Rockfish, Cod, and Salmon. Great experience with family members.

This remote Alaska experience exceeded all expectations. We had 5 couples that were at the remote lodge on Raspberry Island for a week and all 5 couples had an awesome week. Birch and Tiffany and the team run a top notch facility. Food was fabulous. Fishing was great. Saw lots of wildlife. Plan to visit again in the future.

An amazing experience from start to end. The entire staff went out of their way to get to know you and provide personal service. A true Alaskan experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity. The cabins were cozy and inviting, food was phenomenal and fishing/hiking/kayaking/bear view kept us well entertained!
