Beautiful place to be! The owners are so friendly and the location is in mid of nature. You can watch birds and even deers. The owner made breakfast for us in his kitchen and told us a bit about the history of the place and so on. Good place to start to Yosemite Nationalpark for both entrances.
Such a nice experience to be here!

A peaceful, well kept, nature's paradise. Just over an hour drive from Yosemite National Park Visitors Centre, this beautiful place is hosted by Clay and his wife. With warm welcomes and generous touches to your stay this is a great place to take a break alone or with a partner/family. You'll be blown away by the diversity in sounds, especially thr contrast from night and day.

If you're a star lover, you won't be disappointed either!

We had the most amazing 2 nights staying with Clay and Joy. They are so friendly and welcoming it was like staying with family. We were only supposed to stay one night but 10 minutes after arriving we decided to book another night as it is so beautiful there. The B and B is surrounded by woodland and there is a large terrace overlooking the valley which is stunning. Each morning Joy and Clay cook an amazing breakfast for all guests to enjoy. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay just 5 minutes from Mariposa.

An Absolutely fab place to stay ||We were relieved to have found this place to stay near Yosemite for part of our fly drive around California.|Joy & Clay were great hosts, accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Bedroom and bathroom well equipped. The area was so peaceful it was great & the wildlife at the back of the seating area was great with seeing deer & hummingbirds .. something we don’t get to see in the UK obviously. |Breakfast was lovely - our only regret we set of early for Yosemite and so opted to miss our first morning eating here because the queues into the entrance were noted to be long and the reviews were right so based on this our only niggle would be to have an earlier breakfast . |On asking for recommendations for eating in town we were given a list to help us on our way - perfect . |We booked in at Charles street dinner house and omg it was great . Ignore the decor and book it ... staff are lovely and food is plentiful. |We were recommend Jantz cafe & bakery ( think that’s the correct spelling ) for grabbing packed lunch ahead of our day in Yosemite and there you can have fresh sandwiches made up . Lovely accommodating couple . |We used a large store/supermarket at top of the town where we found what we needed for our 2 nights in Mariposa . |If we ever had the chance to visit the area again we’d definitely book here and certainly recommend this accommodation. |It’s August now and we look back on our trip around California for our belated honeymoon with great fondness and our stay with you was the best out them all . |Thank you , Heidi & Mike . |UK

Eine Oase in Mitten wundervoller Natur, ca. 10 Minuten Fahrt auf dem Old Highway bis nach Mariposa und etwa 75 Kilometer landschaftlich sehr schöner Fahrtstrecke zum Westeingang des Yosemite Nationalparks gelegen. Die Gastgeber Joy und Clark sind einfach nur nett und zuvorzukommend, geben gute Tips zum Aufenthalt in der Gegend. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag großartig. Das Zimmer und das Bad zwar klein aber sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für 2 Personen benötigt. Nachts konnte man auf der Veranda oder im Hof sitzen, Sterne gucken und den Grillen lauschen. Morgens und Abends konnte man Deer, Kolibri, wilde Truthuehner und so manch anderes Getier aus aller nächster Nähe beobachten. Einen großen Pool gibt es auch, Kabelfernsehen und WLAN. Wir hatten selten eine so schöne Übernachtungsmöglichkeit und werden ganz sicher hier wieder absteigen.

Although 30 mins from Yosemite Park entrance it is well worth staying here. Our hosts were fantastic and the breakfasts each morning were out of this world, Waking up to the local wildlife and the views were incredible. Accommodation was superb and we were very well looked after. Yosemite was a great experience and knowing we had such a lovely place to come home to each night made the experience one we will not forget

Cela a été le premier Hôtel de notre road trip et nous sommes tres contents d'y être passés. Nous avions la chambre séquoia très spacieuse avec une salle de douche, wc séparés. La chambre est plutôt bien équipée seul bémol pas de fer à repasser. Le petit déjeuner excellent. Il est servi dans la maison des hôtes qui eux sont d'une sympathie inégalée. Il est plutôt copieux et change tous les jours. Je recommande vivement un arrêt d'une ou deux nuits dans cette chambre d'hôte. Parking gratuit. Petite Ville de mariposa à proximité ( 15 Minutes en voiture). Par contre nous sommes arrivés de nuit et ce n'est pas forcément tres bien indiqué.

We loved this place! The owners have thought of everything to make your visit relaxing and rejuvenating. Our room had a mini fridge, Kuerig machine, electric tea kettle, and microwave. Hosts provided salty and sweet snacks. Veranda in back has an unbelievable view of high hills and beautiful meadow. Great place for viewing deer, wild turkeys and many varieties of birds. Beautiful flowers and lush green landscaping surround a hammock, comfortable chairs and gliders for relaxing. Breakfast was beautifully presented on china and tasted delicious! Plenty to get you off to a great day in the park. Left off one star because of the distance from valley, but we didn't mind at all!
