Woodland Care is just a money grab. My grandfather is in their care currently, and he has been going through the roughest time. They have not maintained his medications. They kept trying to discharge him when the doctor said he was not ready. The case manager Chriselda has been rude, inconsiderate, and no help. When he has told them he can't breathe and is spitting up very colored mucus, they told him just drink water. While there, another resident was left with their room open and no sheets on the bed, which the resident was left on since shift change. The fact that they are not willing to listen to the resident there as well as the family to cooperate is despicable.

Woodland care center may be small and not the most beautiful SNF but the staff is amazing from the receptionist Sharon to the billing department, to the social workers Annabelle, to the Rns like Beverly, activity room Bobby, CNA Maria and everyone else that I can't remember there names. They have been taking great care of my mom along with the physical therapist. They are amazing.

My mother is bedbound and terminal and has been at this facility for several years. While they treat her well when I am there, I am not sure exactly what goes on when I am not there.. I arrive to find scabs on her face and bruises as well as not taking the proper time to feed her. Today, I received a phone call from the facility with a message saying that my mother had a saturation episode and to call them back. I called them back within 20 minutes and have not been able to speak with anybody since. It has been four hours. They keep telling me they can’t get a hold of the nursing station which is two halls away and nobody wants to take the time to get the information. I need to know the status of my mother. Is she in the hospital? Is she OK? Nobody will help. 2 months ago, I had a call from a giggling “nurse” telling me my mom’s dialysis was rescheduled… my mom is not on dialysis! She laughed and said oh , I guess I called the wrong person. THIS IS NOT FUNNY. This is how unprofessional and unorganized this place is. The staff yells at each other in the corridor and is lazy.
Please take this into consideration when placing anyone that you love in this facility .

I personally do not like it there at all. My boyfriend stayed for a few days and he hated it. They are way understaffed, they do not have patient boards so staff knows everything they need to know about you, no one communicates with each other, and that is why they ask you everything every time a new staff comes in to see you. It is not run well, they do not have proper equipment to help each patient for their needs, they really a nutrition center to cook fresh food to its patients. This place needs a huge overhaul into the 20th Century.
If you stand firm and STRESS your needs, they may actually know what is needed to be done to bring comfort to the patients.

My grandmother stayed at Woodland Care Center, and we were very impressed with the exceptional care she received. The staff is compassionate, professional and facility is welcoming. Highly recommend for quality care.

This is actually a great Rehab Facility.!!!

At first i was scared because of the previous reviews that i read, but with my families experience with the nurses and the rehab team there is Excellent! They are caring and they do their best to accommodate our needs.

My Dad was admitted there from Northridge Hospital and stay there for more than a month. Coming from a bad stroke, he did very well and now he is home with us. From not being able to walk and now im happy to say he is now walking with us when we go out.

Thank goodness i trusted my instincts to try them out, and now im happy to say that i would definitely recommend them for my Friends and Family.

Thank you to the staff of Woodland care center for taking good care of my dad!

This place is awful your parents come in and once there here they don’t care I will work diligently to get her out of here I’ve been documenting everything to ensure I’ve done everything for quality of care I am mandated by the state of California and will be reporting everything I’ve seen and heard so far I can never get a straight answer from anyone here my mom has been here for days and has had no psychical therapy but I thought this was a rehab I don’t see any rehabilitation going on

Horrible place!! Staff sits down and gossips while patients need help. Nurses are mean, look miserable and don't do their jobs correctly. Very negative place to be at. Personnel are money driven, hungry fake individuals that pretend to care.
Button line is that no one cares at this facility.
