Our wedding weekend at Whispertree was nothing short of magical. The land is filled with such a beautiful energy. Everywhere you turn there is a sweet surprise, so many different nature nooks to discover. All the accommodations were beautiful, eclectic, unique, clean and very comfortable. The staff are the best humans, so kind, attentive and helpful, they truly felt like family. We will come back year after year to celebrate our anniversary and hope to do some retreats at Whispertree as well. This is a very unique and special place in the world, don't miss your chance to experience the magic of Whispertree.

I have been out to Whispertree twice now back when it was called Bell Valley Retreat. The property is absolutely amazing and the entire atmosphere is peaceful. For me, I plan to try and go back at least once a year to really relive the opportunities to commune with nature. I had the great fortune to meet with the Jon and hear directly from him the vision for the property. I rarely post reviews but I completely endorse this property and the great things they do. I have only been back from my time there for about 3 weeks from the date of posting and I am telling all my friends that they need to go.

It's always hard to leave a rave review for a 'secret gem' that you selfishly wish will remain a secret for reasons of availability...but honestly, the Bell Valley Retreat needs to be shared with the world. My husband, two dogs and I have been visiting Bell Valley Retreat annually for a couple years now and absolutely love it. Where else can you stay in cozy accommodations just 9 minutes from a cute town (Boonville) and have access to 5+ miles of beautiful Mendocino countryside trails? This is a no-brainer getaway location for us...we've stayed in the Creekside Cottage but dogs are allowed in the other houses too (although not tents). Units are thoughtfully appointed. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

I regularly host retreats at Bell Valley and can say hands down this is one of the finest retreat centers on the west coast. The staff is super supportive and responsive, the land is beautiful, the accommodations are rustic/elegant and well appointed, No detail is spared in making a stay here absolutely perfect.
