We rented Villa Orquidea for a family trip in early Feb 2024.
This was a family trip that we had planned well before COVID and had to reschedule a few times.
Were we ever glad we did! The villa and casita were spacious and the pool was used daily for our big gang with 5 kids!
- We had a special Mexican fiesta with a pinata for the bambinos the first evening we were there and that sure put us in a great mood for the rest of the week.
We greatly appreciate Lorraine and Lars and Carlos for all their help, from shopping for groceries for us so we had a full fridge after a long day of travel on our first day to trouble shooting how to turn on the oven!
We highly recommend staying at this villa in Puerto Aventuras so a memorable and relaxing family vacation

We rented Villa Maravilla and Casa Orquidea from Lorraine and Lars for 4 nights in June 2022. The 2 villas were the perfect choice for our family reunion of 15 people ranging in age from 18 months to 79 years old. The luxurious villas were the perfect size for us, and decorated with so much detail - like living in an art gallery!

Communication with Lorraine and Lars was easy and they were readily available to answer any question or help with any request before, during and after our stay. An extensive list of service providers and activities was provided and booking them was so easy. Between the personal chef and catering company that were suggested, we were able to arrange our arrival to a stocked fridge, welcome drinks and a Mariachi band! All the service providers are familiar with the villas and each other, and worked great together.

The villa manager was also available and living next door. We did have some issues with plumbing and AC, at no fault of the owners or manager, which were addressed as quickly and respectfully as possible. They were also very accommodating when half our party got stuck an extra day due to flight delays.

The safe gated community and location of the villas was perfect for our reunion, for walking to shops or just hanging out in the pool all day and relaxing together. Everything was so easy and stress-free we may make it an annual visit!

We rented Villa Miramar and Sarisa for 5 days. It was my company outing, and we were 15 people staying in the 2 houses. It was an amazing stay that far exceeded our expectations.

A few concerns we had before we went;

1) Are the houses really as nice as on the website - YES
2) Big group of 15 people ... will we have privacy, or are we all on top of each other? YES - great floor plan, that allows for privacy when people want to unwind and common areas when you want to be social.
3) Is the area - Puerta Aventuras safe - YES
4) Is there stuff to do in the area - YES (it is a gated community with lots of restaurants, hotels, shops, and private beaches.)

On top of all this - Lars + Lorraine + Valerie were extremely helpful, always available, and full of good suggestions!

As for day trips, we did an Zipline / ATV / and diving in cenotes excursion ... very recommendable as well! We were picked up directly from the Villa and brought back ...etc..

All in all - a fantastic stay, and we hope to be back next year!

This place is amazing! We went with another family and had the best time. The staff was outstanding. We’ve never stayed anywhere that had a housekeeper, and I have to say I don’t ever want to stay anywhere else again that doesn’t offer that. We felt like we were really on vacation. The house is even nicer than the photos online. Lorraine was so helpful in putting us in touch with the right people to help with transportation or anything we wanted to do. Valerie was a gem and always available for anything we needed as well. There is a 3-ring binder with information in the house with everything you need for your vacation. I would highly recommend staying here. Good for all ages.

Everything was so wonderful! It is difficult to know where to begin. We rented this property along with several others (through the same property managers) to accommodate our wedding guests. We wanted everyone to be blown away by the accommodations, not just pleased or satisfied. This place did the job!! it has been over two months since our trip to Mexico and my family and friends are still raving about how incredible the housing was. The rooms were spacious, decorated beautifully, and clean. The pool was sparkling clean. We hired a private chef for several meals. The chef made positive remarks regarding the size of the kitchen and the abundance of equipment needed. We never ran out of anything. The maids and landscapers came by every day (except Sunday). The place was spotless. The staff was polite, helpful, thorough, and HONEST. One of my guest left $100 bill outside by the barbecue. Why?! I have no idea. But the landscaper found it and immediately contacted the property manager in order to ensure that it got back to the right person. In the months leading up to the wedding weekend, Lorraine helped me locate and hire a musician, bartender, and a caterer for our Welcome reception.

The property managers let me arrive early to delivery gift bags to each room and separate foods for each household (like I said, I rented more than one property from Lars and Lorraine), which they purchased prior to our arrival (for a very small fee). Lorraine helped me find a baker so I could have cake made for a guest who was celebrating his birthday that weekend and cakes and cookies for everyone on Valentine’s Day and on the wedding day. They also helped us arrange airport transportation and a sailing/snorkeling tour for all our guests. The property managers checked with me daily to see if there was anything I needed. All my guests loved Lars and Lorraine. I could honestly go on and on. Everything was so incredibly over the top awesome that a lot of my guests are talking about coming back with their families (we mostly had couples). You could never get this kind of experience at a hotel. It was truly amazing. It all started with the beautiful accommodations. Look me up on Facebook if you have any other questions. I stayed with my family at villa Sarita. It was wonderful! The villa was beautiful the staff super nice and helpful ! We had meals by Valerie which was perfect ! Food was delicious. We had a big party with a mariachi band and piñata. It was a highlight of our trip for sure ! I highly recommend this villa . Every one of our needs was met !
