One of UofAs newest buildings, built in 2019, is used for housing and teaching those enrolled in the honors college. Beautifully modern architecture creates a unique atmosphere for living and learning. Faculty offices onsite gives a sense of community. Loved the various spaces to congregate with comfortable seating to relax.

My rating is 4.5 but I'll round up!

Overall a very nice place to be, with very friendly staff! Value is also pretty decent (if you don't mind walking), it costs less or v close to the Level 3 dorms and you get a neat, modern building.

Pros:
- Dining hall on main level is super convenient (good food, too).
- Beautiful and massive courtyard with lots of seating and game areas.
- Numerous community lounges where you can hang out, watch TV, plug in a console, do work, etc!
- Study spaces are plentiful and allow you to escape the room if your roommate(s) are too loud
- Building cleanliness is excellent.
- Friendly + helpful staff.
- Always felt safe.
- Having your own or a suite-style bathroom eliminates worries about community bathrooms
- Very close to NorthREC

Drawbacks:
- Some things break on occasion (doors, some laundry machines, a few leaks occasionally), but these do get fixed quickly.
- Meal Plan requirement (though that may apply to all official housing later)
- It may be a long walk to your room.
- This building's location may not be convenient to get to the main campus, but it's no worse/better than some of the high-rises.
- American Campus Communities (owner of the building) charges quite a bit for laundry compared to other places on campus which were free.
- The e-keys for your room are pretty annoying, their tips can break or they may lose functionality randomly.
- Wish there was a built in smaller fitness room that we could use past 9 or 10 PM.

A note is that all of the double rooms are reserved for freshmen in this building, so if you are not a new student, make sure you plan accordingly.
Overall though, a very nice place to live, and if you are in Honors, I suggest you stop by and at least take a look 🙂

An awesome place for students to stay! However the building was thrown together VERY quickly so build quality of rooms is somewhat embarassing. Especially the paint!

Kinda pricy, but also you’re literally staying in a moderately nice hotel so you’re getting what you pay for.
