The apartments themselves are very nice, especially upon move in. I’d give a 8/10 rating - I lived in a 3bd for a year and then downsized to a 2bd. Most maintenance issues were resolved within 1-3 business days. Never had any issues with neighbors or neighborhood during my two years there. Felt very safe and comfortable.

The leasing office staff was also friendly and gave prompt responses.

My issue came from the move-out process. I paid everything I needed to pay, which involved something called Jetty, whom I paid directly. I’m not sure where the disconnect between Jetty and the leasing office was, but it took over a year to resolve a financial issue that I shouldn’t have even been involved in. I had to threaten legal action…

Other than that, loved living there! Amenities were well maintained, landscape was beautiful! Miss it.

Where to start…Living at the ranch was great until greystar took over. Transitioning day was chaotic; the lights in the parking lot were out. It was pitch black. No “heads up” email was sent out. Should’ve taken it as a red flag. Luckily, I was in the process of moving out when this happened. The next catastrophe was the assistant manager greystar brought along. Unprofessional and no customer service skills as any assistant manager should have. When I moved out, I was still under the previous company’s leasing contract. The best advice I can give to a current or future tenant is to keep your leasing contract handy that way whenever move out day comes, the assistant manager does not try to overcharge you like he tried with me. It took indefinite number of phone calls to reach anyone, assistant manager had the audacity to say we can call as many times as we wanted to get our deposit back. Something that usually takes weeks to process took them MONTHS…just do your damn job! ✌🏼

Neighbor has been playing her music so loud I can’t hear our own tv shows. I called the sheriff on her and it stopped for a few days but the last week it’s been constant….sometimes starting at 10pm and not stopping until 3am. I knocked on the door multiple times with no response. All other neighbors are great but for what we pay in rent here I’m disgusted by this behavior…and another neighbor’s dog barking for hours and hours….so I guess I’ll just keep paying the high rent and deal with some horrible neighbors…. I do my best to remain calm but my 2 neighbors are truly horrible….other than that a cool place

Hello I would like to take this time and give a Huge Appreciation and Recognition to actually the entire maintenance department at The Ranch at Moorpark in Moorpark California. This team of men or Outstanding and two Special ones by the Name of Moses and Richard worked very hard by following up with Repair orders for myself and my daughter we Relocated from Austin Texas. Military family of 3wars I am Retired. Also my daughter employment and our Church family is here. Its truly a blessing when you find folks that enjoy their Jobs and good at their Jobs. I Pray this Company do something Special this Holiday Season for the Maintenance Department God Bless Y'all 🙏🙌🙋‍♀️

Been living at The Ranch at Moorpark for about 4 years now. Living here is pretty sweet. The apartments are laid out nicely, giving you that homey vibe. The gym and pool are well-kept and easy to get to. Plus, everything you need—shopping, food, and entertainment—is just around the corner.

One of the coolest parts? There are some fantastic golf courses nearby for when you want to hit the links. The neighbors can be a bit noisy sometimes, but overall, it’s a solid place to live.

My brother just moved in here a few months ago and loves it. This place is awesome, it has everything you need and is close to a ton of great spots. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to move into the area. You’ll have everything you need.

Good amenities and very pet friendly (But some residents don’t pick up after their dog after management repeatedly enforces it, and provides Numerous Fido Houses). Location is great too, next to 2 main shopping centers where you can take a walk instead of driving. During COVID times morning Zoom calls were virtually impossible with the leafblower people walking around. Neighbors were often loud, litter, shopping carts left places. Didn’t like my neighbors much and we mostly kept to ourselves, especially during COVID.
