I can't say enough good things about The Living Room! The caregivers have been wonderful with my mom. Very kind and compassionate. Mom really likes having them visit her. It's taken such a huge amount of stress off of me to know that she's well taken care of when I can't be with her.

I made numerous phone calls, and personally had some face to face interviews before selecting this Care Provider. After our initial interview with Sam & Jamie, my wife and I said "we don't need to interview anybody else", because we both were so impressed with their expertise, knowledge, services offered, trust, and schedule flexibility. The care takers that cared (and loved) our parents truly went the extra mile for them and us. We would highly recommend "The Living Room" if you want the best care out there!

Hello Sam,

I am sending you this email in regards to the care my mother in law received with your services.
1. The caregiver assigned to work on on Wednesday of last week flaked and left 90 minutes into her shift and to have the same thing happen the next day. These were 2 different caregivers.
2. No phone calls from these caregivers or supervisor, Jamie, to verify or authorize early ending of shift. Nighttime medications were highly recommended by hospice, to which she did not receive.
3. To this date we have yet to receive a call to discuss these events. Lack of follow up resulted in our discontinued use of your services.

Today hospice asked us what was happening in regards to her night time meds. This evening Barbara went for a walk to which a neighbor brought her home.
Due to lack of care by some of your providers has put us in the position of find new care providers for her dementia care. As you know, dementia care requires constant familiar routine schedule.

Terrible experience with caregiver, (Donna Glodowski) she ignored phone calls from family and was very rude to the hospice nurses that came to see my elderly parents and tried to throw them out!!. She attempted to not allow the hospice nurse into my parents home, and told me, the daughter that she would not be communicating with me! She argued with me regarding the medications and care for my frail elderly parents and I am an nurse practitioner. Who knows how else she influenced my parents, very scary and egregious behavior! She was trying to isolate my parents from me and other family. Very controlling and VERY inappropriate. I would avoid this place at all costs. AND take note of her review below, SHE WORKS THERE!!!!!
