I absolutely loved my stay at SW Beach Hotel! The location is unbeatable—literally right on the beach and just steps away from the boardwalk. Being so close to the boardwalk made the trip even better; there were endless things to do, like trying delicious local food, exploring unique shops, and enjoying fun arcade games. The hotel itself has such a lovely boutique feel—intimate and inviting, yet with all the amenities you'd expect from a larger hotel. The rooms were immaculately clean, and even staying on the first floor felt like I was in a suite. The terrace views were breathtaking, offering stunning sights of the ocean that I couldn't get enough of... it was also super private when I visited! I liked that you could also rent bikes & it felt super independent - you get a lot of easy access through the tech they implemented. On top of all that, I felt incredibly safe during my stay, which made the experience even more relaxing. I can’t wait to come back—highly recommend this gem of a hotel! We really enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel! The proximity to the beach, the main attractions and great restaurants was just what we wanted. Parking was tricky but for an extra fee we were able to park right behind the hotel. We loved the rooftop area with tables and fire pits where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets with our kids. I would highly recommend the SW and would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at SW Beach! The location was fantastic, located right on the beach and close to several restaurants and bars to visit! No need for a car. A delicious coffee joint is a stone’s throw away and open early. The hotel was clean, had a nice rooftop to hang out on as long as there’s not a private party. The service was on point- providing bike rentals and beach rentals at your convenience-will happily return. Thank you!

We stayed at SW Beach Hotel for a few days in advance of our Panama Canal cruise. We won’t stay anyplace else in LA in future. The hotel is in a delightful little neighborhood by the beach. We walked in the beach every day and enjoyed looking at all of the mid-century modern beach houses. There are lots of local eateries and pubs. The roof is a delightful place to sit and talk. We loved our time here and will be back!

I’m sad to put a four star overall but I drive a very large vehicle and the parking location was not ideal. It was very difficult to park but let me tell you how amazing the service was in the room itself. So cute and so aesthetic. Small balcony but enough room to enjoy the outside fresh air. Everything about it was perfect. I highly recommend you at least try a night at SW hotel!!!

My husband & I spent one night here visiting friends. Cute boutique hotel in the heart of Hermosa Beach near the strand & the Pier. Nice rooftop deck with the view of the ocean to hang out. The room was modern & clean. Parking on the weekend is horrendous down there. If you get there early you *may* be lucky to get one of there few designated parking spots, but don’t count on it. And if not, you *might* get lucky to get one of their passes to the public parking structure a couple blocks up (we did!) We were there on a weekend so we had to loop around for more than a half hour before we got a spot. Other than the parking situation, we had a nice stay & would stay here again.

Exceptional rooms with beautiful views, fantastic accessibility to restaurants and shops, and smart room layouts Including a separate bedroom and a kitchen area.

~1 min walk from the pier, shops, and a lovely cafe with oceanfront views.

Great hotel in the best location in LA. Room was really well appointed and quiet. Staff was awesome. I truly enjoyed my stay. Location is everything and this is the best spot to stay. Whether you are visiting LA for an extended period of time or you just need an overnight near LAX, this is it.
