We board our boys at Sunkist Stables and we can honestly say that we couldn't be happier! The owners and barn manager are incredible! All the horses are so well taken care of, the communication is excellent, and they really make sure to put the needs of the animals above anything else. And they're licensed! We are so thrilled with our experience at Sunkist and our horses have never been healthier and happier!

What a terrific group of folks! Make everyone feel like part of the family whether you have horses there or not. Multi-generational from tiny kids all the way up. Nice, laid-back atmosphere, but real horsemanship instruction and lots of fun to boot! Well cared for arenas and grounds and barns. You could not ask for a better place to board your horse or to provide good, clean fun for your family and yourself!

If you like horse back riding. This is the place to go. So professional. So knowledgeable. So friendly it'll scare you. don't miss out. And they have paint horses too. Beautiful stable

I have been taking riding lessons with Sunkist Stables (my instructor is Jerry and my horse is Buddy) for several months now. Before I started I was afraid of horses. In a very short time Jerry put me completely at ease with various horses, and had me looking forward to my next lesson! In a short period I learned a lot: who horses are, what they like and dislike, why they react in such or such way, how to gain their trust. I have learned to trot, canter and counter canter, stop my horse without fumbling, ride my horse on challenging terrain, and also play with him doing groundwork like directing him from 20 feet to change speed and direction, jump barrels, stop in hoops on command... All this without any strain or unnecessary duress because Sunkist Stables teaches according to the 'natural horsemanship method'. Jeanna, the owner, takes great care of my horse Buddy and the other boarders say likewise: Sunkist Stables is the best stable in town for cleanliness, TLC, and friendliness of staff and clients.

This is the best stables in Tucson and Oro Valley. The owner and everyone around is very helpful and friendly. I have learned so much from them and recommend Sunkist Stables to anyone looking for horse boarding or lessons!

This is a top notch boarding stable. There are outdoor riding arenas and good access for trail riding.
