Stonegate Ranch and the sister location Westwind next door are just the most amazing places to board in Tucson! Coming from up north where I had my own farm at home, it was very hard for me to imagine my horses living in Tucson with limited turnout and no grass. Then I found the magic of Stonegate Ranch and Lisa and George :-). The horses enjoy ALL DAY turnout, the grass is plentiful, green and yummy and the care is simply outstanding. They take great pride in making sure each horse is happy and are always making sure that everyone is settled and enjoying their pasture mates. I cannot say enough how happy I am that my horses live here! Thank you for the wonderful care and I will continue to tell everyone that this is the best place in Tucson if nice people, good care, long turnout and delicious grass are important! Lisa and George are the best!

Lisa and George provide lovely grass filled pastures for our precious equines. They are very responsive to each horse's individualized needs and those of their owner. Brown lived happily with the Youngerman family in their tree shaded yards in 2019. At night, the horses are housed in their own pens to allow for the high diversity of eating plans and specialized care of an older horse. Brown is now 30 years and works full time in the ground school of Equanimity, a trauma recovery program for youth and adults. The care is outstanding. Barbara Rector

Lisa and her husband George are fantastic people. I didn’t know them before I boarded there but they felt like old friends. They were careful to make sure my boy was a good fit for the group of horses they had. The have a beautiful farm with grass and shade and all day turn out. They supplied plenty of hay for AM/PM feedings. George and Lisa can see the horses from their house and are often outside with them throughout the day.

My boy was there for a physical and mental break from training and he came back a beautifully different horse. He was mentally better and physically willing to train again.

Stonegate Ranch boarding is like a piece of green heaven for horses. Not only is it a beautifully maintained property, Lisa & George themselves are attentive, caring good people.it is small and horses in their care quickly become part of their family.
We have boarded 2 horses with them and couldn’t be happier. They quickly communicated any concerns they had about our horses behaviors or health. We are happy to recommend Stonegate as an amazing place for pasture boarding!!

communicators as far as the needs of your horse.The atmosphere is relaxed ,open,supportive..my horse was underweight
and scared when she first got there but now
she is at a good weight and has gained confidence. Would highly recommend you

GREEN GRASS IN TUCSON! I have no idea how Lisa and George keep their pastures green year round, but it makes for happy horses (and owners)! They work hard to provide a safe and caring environment for the horses. They are simply the best! Cannot recommend this place enough!
