Nevada county houses meth addicts and criminals that commonly OD dying inside of these apartments. There's a substantial amount of drug trafficking. Due to this. All the meanwhile there's countless elderly homeless people that don't do drugs and that aren't criminals that need help that are denied help. Simply because they don't meet their criteria. you basically have to be a meth addicted mental criminal For the county to put you in these apartments. for free for months at a time. Ridiculous. This is one of the most corrupt counties when it comes to criminal justice.

Well... You can't put on a new dress and lipstick and pretend to be someone else just as much as You can't slap some fresh paint and a new roof (if it's even new) on a building and call it renovated! We have called it the ROACH COACH ever since I can remember for a reason! This place is just GROSS! Rather than put the money forth for mattress protectors, they wrap them in clear Visqueen plastic, I always wondered if the health department was savvy to their practices? I bet the bedding is crawling with micro organics that are less than desirable. Place is just NASTY.

The hotel is located close to downtown Grass Valley, that's the perk of the place. There was no front desk attendant available during business hours. It took several phone calls for someone to show up and help us check in. The main light in the bedroom did not work. The heater would somehow turn into air conditioning at night. At least the showers were great.

Managers are kind and understanding and very helpful. It's a roof over your head, with a warm bed to sleep. Why complain, it's a live savor especially when your fighting for your health to survive. They have big warm hearts here!!

It has taken me a week to think about writing a review as I liked Nett the manager. However, I have decided to write this as I feel the owners either don't get it or don't care. I've been staying in hotels and motels for decades and this has to be the worst place I have stayed, ever. Period!||||First, the pictures for the rooms on this site and other sites are positively not what I found and had to be staged. Here is what my room was like: a quarter size cigarette burn on the bed spread. The window was open with no screen. The mattress did have flannel sheets, that I love but they were stiff as a board. the matters, was a very very old one. I wouldn't be surprised if it were over two decades old. When I got out of the shower there was dirt all over the floor that wasn't there when I got in the shower. I assume this came out of the faucet when I turned the shower on and off. Oh boy! ||||In addition, the cast of characters at this place was very strange and absolutely out of the ordinary for places I normally stay. There was a very shabby man in his 20s smoking a cigaret on the stairs. Yes, he was a guest. He spent a great deal of time doing this. There was a man and women , same age, who looked completely out of place and staying in a room. You take a guess what was going on. ||||I completely was amazed my car wasn't vandalized in the morning and I did not feel safe at this place. That is a strange thing to say as they charge high prices for a motel that is in desperate need of repairs, clean up and have an unsavory clientele and is out of the way.||||In the morning, I got out of there as fast as I could. Period. Oh, there was no coffee in the room, which they do tell you but none in the office as promised. ||||I would pass and try someone else and if the owners of this horrible horrible place read this, shame on you. Karma will catch up with you horrible people one day if the health department doesn't first.

The manager of this motel is so incredibly caring and compassionate. She has a huge heart, and it shows in every single thing that she does for her guests. She really puts effort in to making your stay at the motel as comfortable as possible. She is just an incredible, lovely woman, and makes a huge difference in the atmosphere of the motel.

Like $132 for a REAL DUMP!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! TV did not work but employee told me it was complimentary (she thought this meant it was extra and customers should NOT expect it to function!!!). After five minutes of diddling with it, she got it to work. VERY LIMITED Channels. Old TV, Fire Alarm hanging from wall, looks like someone pulled it out. Aluminum Rack above refrigerator broken. Light by bed was cheap and did not even have a shade. Microwave does not rotate (probably bought it for $10 at thrift store nearby). When I asked to move to another room, I was told I could not because I had already moved in, cooked some microwave popcorn. But even worse, the woman implied that she could get in trouble if she moved me by the owners!!!!! I am here as I write this, having no place else to go at this point. Hopefully it remains quiet and I can sleep and get the hell out of this garbage pit tomorrow. I should have read the other reviews but I was pressed for time and had to grab something at 7 pm. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!!! Oh, and they provide one large towel...no mat for the shower inside or out. No hand towels.

I stayed at this motel last April and found it to be lacking in amenities and maintenance* (see below) but the room was clean and comfortable enough that I made another reservation several days ago for this Labor Day weekend. The manager, “Nett,” had been friendly in April and had appeared eager to please guests. But I was concerned that a couple of very bad reviews posted only a month ago meant the motel might not have corrected problems identified in earlier reviews and I was worried I might have a bad experience. When I expressed my concern, rather than promising to exceed my expectations, Nett denied any bad reviews, claimed her reviews were good, and cancelled my reservation. Her interests would be better served by correcting any deficiencies and heeding bad reviews, rather than denying they exist. Rather than turning away guests willing to give her a chance despite some bad reviews, she does herself no good by denying problems. I’m a model guest, too – the type of guest every motel should want. I don’t smoke, drink, peddle drugs, make noise, or invite questionable guests. I’m so clean I squeak, and I always leave a room clean and neat. It’s her loss. I don’t expect her to contact me to apologize. Instead, I expect to be permanently blacklisted from her motel. It’s enough to make me wonder what type of clientele she’s trying to attract.||||*During my stay last April I found: No ice machine, no dial tone on recently installed used phone (previously had no phones), sink drain line clogged and "maintenance man" off on weekend & motel unwilling to call outside plumber, AC slow to start at times, coarse flannel bed sheets, skimpy supplies of TP and soap, kleenex dispenser present but empty, thin bath towel, motel hard to find at night because sign not lit. But the motel appeared to have been improved since the 2015 bad reviews were written, just had more to do. But given Nett’s dismissal of bad reviews and her refusal to rent to anybody who asks for a better experience, I doubt things have changed.
