Initial impressions 11 Oct 2024, are great. Staff has been incredibly responsive. Had an initial hick up with our move in date being slid to the right for the contractors to finish renovations. This would normally be worthy of a worse rating if it wasn't for how well the staff handled it. These are very solution oriented people.

Edit: 22 Oct 2024. Encountered a maintenance issue with our dishwasher overflowing and leaking. The day after the maintenance request was initiated we had a worker there to fix it. Problem solved quick and easy with fantastic handling of the maintenance department.

This is a review for the property company not for the apartment staff nor maintenance. We have just moved in for about a month. Before we move-in, Joy was extremely helpful, patient, and nice, so we really appreciate her help along the process. She's still being very nice and helpful. However, I do want to mention the most ridiculous thing about this apartment is that the property company doesn't allow you to do partial payments for the rent. Not every apartment is a household that can pay in full. What do roommates do? What if people travel internationally and want to set up auto-payment for their partial rent payments? Wish they could tell us in advance before we sign the lease! And we might reconsider our options.

Sofi Westview is a nice community to call home and the Management team makes a difference. Joy Robinson is always great to communicate with. She is welcoming with a smile and has been a great resource to consult in our new adventures with our AI assistant (works great) and updated resident portal options (renewals, payments, etc.). I have seen her take time with prospective new residents answering any questions, patiently stepping through application process. So nice to see our new neighbors welcomed. Thank you Joy for all your help!

This is objectively a nice complex. Maintenance is promptly handled.

However - if you have loud neighbors above you, good luck. We endured 2 large dogs above us for months. took diligent notes when we were awoken at 12am-1am by barking and jumping dogs. We still had to pay 1/2 the lease break fee to get out of there. Kind of unfair for how patient we were.

During initial tour were told the floors were strong and quiet - but maybe not. I think we just got unlucky unfortunately with who moved in above us.

Visited to tour an Apartment using their self guided tour app as they didn't provide any other option.
One of the worst app and wrong information (building numbers). When I asked the lady sitting in the office for some help, she told me to get the key but didn't tell me from where and how. They don't understand that most customers are first time visitors there. I ended up roaming for apartment and key.
Came back without even touring the apartment.

Sofi Westview is a great complex to live in! We have lived here going on 5 years now and I must say the grounds are well kept and we feel safe at night. 2 of the girls in the front office that really left a great impression and helped us out over the years are Vanessa, who unfortunately doesn’t work here anymore, and Angela. Angela went out of her way recently to help resolve an issue we had with an upstairs tenant that had been going on for some time. In the end, she single handedly rectified the situation and provided an excellent resolution by letting us transfer to another unit! Because we simply aren’t ready to leave this gorgeous community yet. Angela always makes us feel heard no matter what the issue is, she is friendly and personable. So thank you Angela! You are the best, and you deserve a fat raise! ?

It was great living here for two years. Every year, the rent skyrocketed though. Upon moving out, management informed us of carpeting being replaced. It was a pain and my wife and I ate the cost. I would recommend, but not for military families. Look for other options. Great memories until the painful ending upon departure from Sofi Westview.
