Es un lugar hermoso, los señores que atienden son muy amables , hay un río muy bonito en la parte de atrás del hotel y se disfruta de la naturaleza también aceptan mascotas , ahí cerca hay una tienda, un restaurante y para poner gasolina.

Chris and Oscar were very nice to us and our dogs. Great prices and fire pit areas next to the river. If you want food we highly recommend the coffee shop/bar next door and the korean food! Also next door you can get your snow chains installed before heading to the snow. Perfect location.

This is an updated lodge. If I could I would give it a 4.5 stars. There are not a lot of amenities but the rooms are pretty good, and decently close to Lake Tahoe/Snow Parks/Ski Resort. The price is very good for what you receive. I stayed here for a couple days with my family. There are not many eating options close by so be aware of that.

The location, the rooms, and parking was great! The unfortunate experience was noisy neighbors upstairs that were partying until 3am. The walls and ceilings are super thin, so you end up sleeping in the middle of a raging party if there is one upstairs or next door. The office staff did not step in to calm the party down. If you’re trying to get good rest before hitting the slopes beware.

What a hidden gem! Stayed here in October as a basecamp for our backpacking trip into the Desolation Wilderness. Very friendly staff. The entire place is totally renovated inside and out to modern standard and updated with brand new beds, furniture. Good WiFi. Beds are super comfortable. The fridge and microwave are nice touches. The back BBQ area is on the shore of the American River. Choose one of the many reclined lounge chairs and soak in the serenity of the majestic river. There is a great Korean restaurant and general store nearby and a coffee shop next door. We will definitely be back to Sierra Inn for all of our future Lake Tahoe outings.

Chris and Oscar were wonderful staff 🙂 the tv didn’t work so they came and fixed it . Room was cozy. Comfy beds . Comfy pillows in the king bed . Fire pits were nice to have a fire in the evening. The river in the back was cool to see and listen to . The river and chairs in the front was a beautiful spot to walk down and listen to the water . Lobby had books , games and big spray . Also served cookies and wine as a little welcoming hello treat . Parking was small only because there’s not to many rooms but they are nice and remodeled . Good price . Close to Tahoe .

Stayed here for a night before a backpacking trip from South Lake to Truckee. Room was clean and the manager gave us complimentary drinks at checkin. There’s a nice area for bbq and just to relax by the river.
