We love this facility! My daughter has been taking lessons here with Kimberly for 6 years, from age 7 - 12. My daughter has become an excellent rider because of the training she received here. Kimberly is an amazing teacher. She is patient, positive, and conscientious. I love that she teaches the kids how to build trust with the animals from a deep place of listening. Kimberly's facility is very clean and impeccable. I can't recommend her enough!

Kim is absolutely amazing.! She is a marvelous instructor and truly loves what she does . Her ranch is beautiful , beyond words lovely. All her animals are so loved and cared for. I am blessed my daughter rides with her. I wouldn’t allow anyone else to teach her . My daughter has gained confidence in all areas of life being on the ranch . She participates in the camps in summer. It’s her favorite time of year because she gets to be with Kim and “ her boys “ all day ( all of her horses are geldings ) 😉 I love watching my daughter ride . She trusts Kim 100% and when she’s older wants to work with her .
Kim is more than an instructor. She’s a friend. To myself and my daughter.
I highly recommend this ranch . Can’t find anywhere better!

We looooove Ms. Kimberly! Because of her, my kids not only love horses, but they have a deep respect for these majestic creatures. Ms. Kimberly is a top-notch teacher and holds the safety of her students and for the horses as her #1 priority. She not only teaches horseback riding, but she also includes the kids in husbandry (the care and grooming of the horse the child is riding) - that helps the children bond at some level with their assigned horse and vice versa. Horseback riding is a serious sport, and Ms. Sebesta takes this responsibility with great discernment in every move she makes with these creatures and the children, makes it fun, is encouraging, supportive, and, above all, she teaches the child to connect with the horse in an effort for the child to have an empowering experience as a rider, a caregiver of the horse, and a confident and competent participant in building a relationship with the horse they are riding. Trust, safety, predictability, and reliability is key in building the human-horse relationship, and Ms Sebesta is an excellent guide. This is serious work, building character and strength in body and in mind, and the kids learn this from Day 1. We can't thank Ms. Sebesta enough for such an enriching and life-changing experience for both of our kids!

My children have been going to Rocking K for a few years now for riding lessons. They both love the classes, and always have nothing but great things to say about Mrs. Kim when they get home. She is always paying attention to the safety of the children and horses, and she teaches the kids how to care for, treat, and ride the horses properly. It is very apparent that Mrs. Kim works hard to ensure that the lessons are a good experience for both the children and the horses. The ranch has easy parking, clean facilities, and everything is well maintained.

My daughter has been riding at the Rocking K Ranch for almost 3 years now and we love Mrs. Kim and all of her amazing horses! The ranch is always clean and well maintained and she has horses for all levels of riders. Kim is an excellent instructor, she has always been kind and patient with my daughter and has helped her become a confident, skilled rider. I also love that she teaches her students how to properly care for the horses and how to get them tacked and ready for each lesson. She also does Girl Scout programs!

We first brought our daughter to Kim's summer camp 4 years ago because our pony had bucked her off and she had lost her confidence in riding. By the end of camp, she was cantering around with a big smile on her face! Kim has continued to help her grow into a beautiful and confident rider. She has learned so much about all aspects of horses and their care. Safety is top priority for Kim's horses and students and she has set rules that she expects students to follow. She teaches independence, responsibility, and accountability as each student gets their horse ready for their lesson, puts them away when done, and cleans up after them. We have seen Kim talk kids through their fear or frustration with patience and compassion, using excellent communication skills and teaching ability. She doesn't allow disrespectful behavior or consistantly not following direction when it comes to the care of her horses. Kim is a wonderful mentor and we have heard many parents comment about how much they appreciate her. Kim will gladly talk it through if you come to her with an issue or problem. The ranch is a very peaceful, beautiful place with amazing views of Ramona. Her horses are taken care of better than most and she gives them lots of love and everything they need to do their job happily. Kim loves sharing the joy of horseback riding with her students and does all she can to help them to succeed and thrive. We love Mrs. Kim!

Amazing experience for my son.
Kim is friendly yet no nonsense. She knows how to connect with her students and provides very clear instruction. Kim knows how to find just the right horse for each student.
My son who doesn't like to be touched and wouldn't let anybody get within 7 ft of him, allows Kim to guide him through every step of taking care of these beautiful animals
He saddles him, is comfortable mounting and riding them and takes care of his horse afterward.
He's even been known to muck a stall or two
Kim really teaches her students to connect with these intelligent and empathetic animals.
It's not just about riding, it's all about connection.
We are grateful for everything Kim has taught our son and look forward to him continuing to progress through her program.

Our grandson has been taking lessons for almost 2 years and we can't find enough superlatives to share our experience with Kimberly and her program.The first thing she insistes on is is safety. Safety for the riders and safety for the horses. The next thing they learn is caring for the horses before and after riding.while being strick with the instructions she is very kind and regraspectful to every student.
