Really cute little Motel off historic 80 not far from the I-10. I'd make the trip over here to stay again next time I drive the I-10 this way. The owner is attentive and takes pride in her business. The rooms were dated (this added a bit of carm to the place) but CLEAN! The price was great for a couple just passing though. Kitchen and bathroom of course. And the reviews did not lie about the soft sheets. But Cindy did one better for the guys, my hubby just LOVED the recliners in the rooms! What a way to cater to our hard working men! I want to take a trip to Tombstone very soon just so we can stay here again. They book up fast so call ahead. Unlike many places we called Cindy answered the phone and came out to check us in late. What a jewel she turned out to be! Would give 6 starts for a great, warm fuzzy and comfortable stay. ?

Very nostalgic motel with the sweetest owner, Nancy. Rooms are clean and ours had a little kitchen with full size refrigerator/microwave. The sheets are soft. The beds are firm but not uncomfortable. You absolutely can not beat the price! She has daily, weekly and monthly rates. We never felt unsafe, as mentioned in another review. Another review mentioned, “There isn’t an outlet in the bathroom,” but who cares, use the outlet in the room right beside the full size mirror on the door. You’ll appreciate and enjoy this place as long as you don’t expect a “Hilton” atmosphere. We will return without a doubt.

Our stay at this motel was very lovely! Nancy is so sweet and friendly. The sheets were incredibly soft and the pillows were fluffy and soft (just the way I like them). I felt very cozy here! There were also so many things in the room, a mini kitchen (with a stove!), brooms, microwave, TV, etc. I also loved that the room had a screen door. Overall, excellent stay for the money!

I'm from this area, have lived here for many years. I recently moved to Phoenix which is where I am originally from. I came up to visit family and I have passed this motel thousands of times. I decided to book a stay here. I read all the other reviews and they are quite right, except for the terrible review. So there is no hairdryer, who cares? Bring your own, it wouldnt kill you to blow dry your hair in front of the mirror at the dresser. This is not Motel 6. This place is very cutely decorated Southwest style. The room was very cozy and very clean. The rooms have kitchenettes that look 50's style. They are stocked with everything you need to cook. Pots and pans, dishes and silverware. My room has a full size refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, full size coffee pot, coffee filters, and ice trays with ice. They provide little packets of soap and shampoo. The towels are fresh and clean and the beds are very comfortable with soft pillows and clean sheets. Indeed the lady at the front desk is very pleasant and sweet. They offer free Wi-Fi and cable TV. We were charged a flat $50 for the night. This is a very nice motel, clean, cozy and comfortable. I would stay here again. And FYI, per the terrible review that someone posted......I did not see one cockroach in the room at all. No bugs of any kind. Its a very nice place. I do recommend the Sahara, absolutely.

Stayed here for work with my crew in St David. It is clean and basic. Nancy is attentive and personable. It is an older hotel so adjust your expectations accordingly. We gave her 5 stars for being very good at what it is. Good and reasonably priced

A Home Away From Home, it truly is!

Rooms have a screened door also, so you can leave your door open if you'd like, screened door also has lock. Attendant is very sweet and kind! You got TV, microwave, coffee maker, big refrigerator, dresser, night stand, table and chair, recliner with TV stand table, and of coarse a bed! The sheets on the bed are so soft and clean, its wonderful. Your A/C has a remote so you can relax in bed and change the temperature to suit you!

And Wifi (High Speed Internet)!

Obviously you have a restroom, which has the usual: toilet, sink, and shower! But freshly stocked with clean towels, soaps, and hair care products! These people aren't stingy in giving you what you need for a comfortable stay!

And the rate low!

So low rates, but better quality than there large chain hotels! I feel like I could move here, and stay a long time!

This is fairly Plain Jane, but if you're like us, and like to support the non-chain motels, this is a nice, quiet, comfy place to rest your head. Smaller beds, (nice and firm) but owner was very upfront with us from the start. Very sweet and welcoming owner/operator manning the desk, and she was very helpful with info on local places to eat, and visit. Wouldn't hesitate to stay if we're ever back in the area. Thank you!

It has been several years since I last stayed here. It is still as neat, clean, quiet, and charming as it was. Nancy, the proprietress, along with the faithful Dingus McGee, still manages the place with friendliness and grace. She and her husband build the place in 1959. It is built in the style of the historic motor courts that provided accommodations throughout America in the first half of the Twentieth Century. That design was informed by the original wagon yards catering to those that first pressed westward. Most of the clientele are repeat and some stay for months during the winter.
