Sagewater lived up to all of its great reviews. It was quiet, magical, peaceful, unfussy, uncomplicated, modern and spare. The mineral water pools at night are divine. We had a couples massage at the onsite spa and it was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had. Kelli was incredible. My partner also said his massage was excellent. I made breakfast in the well stocked and organized mid century modern kitchenette and overall we left feeling relaxed, refreshed in love and ready for the New Year. We will be back. Wonderful.

This is a fantastic place for an affordable, over-the-top excellent spa vacation or just a day trip. Rooms are modest but with kitchen and very tasteful furnishing. The body worker I had was terrific, and the waters sublime. At night, swimming laps before flopping over into the attached hot tub is a must do.

A wonderful place to rest one’s head after a day of hiking in Joshua Tree or enjoying the Palm Springs area. Tired? Just relax in the mineral water pools, get some body work, or replenish in the nearby restaurants in Desert Hot Springs or Palm Springs. Retro spa, simple and lovely accommodation, and fabulous staff. So cool! We loved Sagewater!

What an incredible retreat from the busyness of daily life! Sagewater is a quaint, retro-style getaway with an incredible mineral pool and spa - that offers you relaxation under the beautiful blue skies - just near Palm Springs. I got the best sleep, felt welcome, met new friends, had one of the best massages ever at Samata Wellness right on site, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily. The room had a small kitchen, table and chairs, full private bath, and firm comforting bed with great pillows. Gave me the rest and rejuvenation I needed. Oh - and the owners were so kind!

My husband and I had the most relaxing, restful and rejuvenating stay at Sagewater Springs. It's a very small hotel with 8 rooms arrayed around a pool and hot tub that are both fed by mineral wells. While there were other guests at the hotel, we often felt like we had the place to ourselves. My favorite part of the stay was being able to float in the heated waters and watch the stars at night.

Our room had a window looking out at the mountains and we had a lovely time looking out for quail, bunnies, lizards and other desert creatures. If you're staying in Desert Hot Springs, I highly recommend staying at Sagewater. Next time I will avail myself of some of the spa treatments.

I just got home from a three night girls trip to Sagewater. It was the most relaxed I have felt in 5+ years and the water is the most beautiful water I've been in ever. The water temperature was perfect and I loved going back between the hot pool and the warm pool and floating on my back feeling held by the healing water. It was so dreamy to wake up, put on my swimsuit and go soak in the pool while enjoying the morning sun and a cup of tea. Then getting home after day of adventuring and soaking for an hour or two and talking with my family in the moonlight before retiring into the most comfortable King size bed. There were so many great activities to do within an hour or less of driving; like the tram up Mt. Jacinto, the art museum in Palm Springs, the street market on Thursday, hiking in Joshua Tree, night life and restaurants. It was absolutely wonderful and I want to tell everyone about this place. ||The rooms have a kitchenette with coffee, tea, a fridge and small freezer, utensils and flatware, a microwave, a toaster oven and a sink. The bathrooms are clean and shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap are provided. The wifi is strong, the beds are large and so very comfortable, there is a table for sitting and large windows with window coverings that blackout the room very well.

We had a totally great time staying at Sagewater Springs and enjoyed the surroundings. The rooms are large, clean with a cool kitchenette. The thermal hot springs that fill the pool and hot tub are amazing! The water feels fantastic and revived me again and again. Nearby Joshua Tree park is an epic place to hike.

Lovely restorative place. Very clean rooms. The hot mineral spring water was wonderful. Great set up with hot tub and pool both with pure hot mineral spring water at 2 perfect temperatures. Sustainable practices and products throughout. Highly recommended for a relaxing peaceful get away. Built in 1954, Sagewater Springs maintains the simplicity and style of the time with updated features and amenities. Wonderfully comfortable beds and organic cotton robes for lounging. Rooms with kitchenettes are ready for cooking. With less than 10 rooms in the whole place it's safe. Well maintained and cared for by the frindly proprietors and their dog. Coffee, chocolates and teas provided for guests. Beautiful views.
