My sister and I chose the Robin's Nest to stay last weekend to revisit San Andreas where we lived many years ago. The house was very impressively maintained and full of natural light entering the many windows. It was like going back in time to the 1890's! We really enjoyed relaxing on the lawn in the shade upon arrival. Karen and Bill were very attentive to our needs and gave us good tips on the local dinner restaurants. Our rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. Their breakfasts were indeed special, not only delicious but also very artistic. A big bonus is that this B&B is pet-friendly!

We had a great time at the Robin's Nest in the Safari Room. This room is the only dog-friendly room in the bed and breakfast. We got a tour of the place and all the rooms looked really nice. There are some upstairs with claw foot tubs and double beds for kids. Our room had a tub, but it was a basic tub. The whole property is in downtown San Andreas and walkable to restaurants. There's a nice deck where you can hang out, as well as a room inside where there's cookies in the afternoon and you can get coffee and tea.||||The breakfasts were amazing. They were three courses- the first being a good fruit dish. The next was a cream soup, which was great. Lastly, we had a full dish. We left very full and the food was tasty!||||The price was great too. You get a discount if you pay cash and everything was reasonable. You're about a half an hour from Murphys and a little more than an hour from Sacramento.||||The only negatives- our room was on the bottom floor (separate entrance) and we could hear people above us walking back and forth quite a bit. Also, the plumbing is a bit older so when I took a shower, the water went from hot to burning to freezing the whole time. ||||Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. The owners were the nicest people and it was great talking to them. They are friendly and have a cute dog and main coon cat who is sweet.

We stayed 3 days at this magical diamond in the rough 1895 Queen Anne Victorian B&B. This was our 25th wedding anniversary get away and we felt as if we were honored family guests. Bill and Karen were incredibly accommodating and are wonderful conversationalists, in such a warm, open, and friendly way. We had long discussions on everything from soup to nuts. Beautifully decorated house with lots of antiques, porcelain dolls, and eclectic collections. We love staying in Victorian B&B's and this one was one of our favorites. Can't wait to go back!!!

We had stayed here on our honeymoon 30 years ago and came back to stayed the night in front bedroom. Karen and Bill were so awesome. They have been there for 25 years. Everything was excellent. Including recommendation for dinner and what to see. The place has plenty of room for events and beautiful outdoor BBQ and seating area. Planning to come back soon.

Beautifully restored victorian mansion that is a gem worth going out of your way to visit and stay in! Family owned and run by a amazingly sweet and passionate couple that take pride in what they do and know how to create special experiences for guests by adding extra touches. We enjoyed sharing stories with them and learning about how the Robin's nest came to be. We spent our 2021 Christmas here at the Robins nest and I thought it was a perfect festive get away. so close to the mountains and great restaurants. Enjoyed reading in the parlor in the evening and relaxing in the room. All the rooms were so creative and colorful. Very clean and cozy. We had a christmas tree in our room it was so special to be surrounded by the holiday spirit. The place has wonderful design and spirit. We loved every day! The breakfasts are phenomenal! It was raining but the gardens looked lovely and on a nicer day I would be outside more. A must see and highly recommended. Thank you!

Excellent! This is a five star immaculate and pristine Bed and Breakfast. Facilities were wonderful. Bill and Karen are the best hosts you will ever meet. I loved them and their amazing breakfast. The rooms are so big and comfortable and the grounds are ideal for a fresh nights rest and recovery.
Go out of your way to stay in this quaint country SHANGRI-LA bit of paradise.

The couple that run the B & B are really nice and were around for questions. There are two scrapbooks to browse that give the history. I found it quite interesting. There are many knick knacks, especially dolls. It was fun to just walk around. The rooms are in period decor, chain for the toilet and a large bathtub. We got a bit of an upgrade-thanks! There is music, easy listening, through out the house and each bedroom. I believe the male owner is responsible. I wish I could get it in my home. ||There is a fridge in the room and free bottled water. I think there are things to do on the grounds, activities, but it was like 110 degrees. There are a few games to play indoors. TV in the room with a bathroom. Breakfast was warm and good. Tip-If you pay cash you get a bit of a discount. I thought the price was good either way.

I will start by giving them 5 stars for everything. We spend a wonderful 3 days and 2 nights in the area concluding our 6 days vacation, and can't wait to go back. This is the experience we like to share with everyone. Great welcome from our guests Bill and Karen. Very knowledgeable about the area. Great food in the morning, a 3 cores meal with Canadian accent, like French Omelet, for example. Great service! For a great night, they have good music in ambiance, Port and Cherry cream available at your discretion and a lot of privacy. Makes you feel like home! But please, don't just believe me!
