We stayed at Roadrunner Inn in October of 2024 for the balloon festival. It was amazingly clean and nicely decorated . The staff was very helpful and friendly . We had a great stay. They should be very proud of themselves for offering our military and retired military service members such a great place visit. It will definitely be on our list of places to return to. Oh and the lady who I unfortunately forgot her name that decorated the place for the balloon festival was amazing too. Awesome Job!! Thank You. Norm and Bonnie

Happy to have been able to stay here during the balloon festival. Perfect location! Fast check in. Clean and it always feels more safe staying on base! I just wish they had elevators, but for the nightly price, can't complain at all! Loved our stay!

Room was fine, clean and comfortable , good water pressure and hot water. Some of the staff needs is new and needs more training. The pancake bar is very nice. Nice little gift shop, even includes alcoholic beverages. The weekend staff older fellow is very nice , the day staff not so friendly and seemed bothered when asked to sell some alcoholic beverage. They need to provide. More training to younger staff , if took some time to figure out the usage of the computer and charge system.

They also need further training in customer service , I know its military style lodging and not a hotel business but the patrons are paying customers and should be treated as such. Develop a better approach for handling complaints, I was asked to produce an ID card to make a room charge just minutes after I checked in .. not sure why .. overall the experience was fair this time around.

Great place to stay.
I'm not very picky when it comes to staying at places, but I was very surprised when I found out there were 3 rooms all to myself. There's food and stuff at the check-in, which some of it is complimentary. I just grabbed a coffee when I was there. All in all, it's a really great place to stay if you're around Albuquerque

We’ve stayed in our fair share of pet friendly TLFs and the one at Kirtland AFB is in an extremely sad state, one of the worst I’ve seen. It’s old base housing and really deteriorating (see photos). This is no fault of housekeeping, the unit was fairly clean and equipped with standard toiletries, but no military family coming in after a stressful move (and it’s always late at night) should have to stay in lodging like this, especially multiple nights to weeks at a time. Additionally, the walls are quite thin and we could clearly here a screaming child in the unit next door. So glad we were only here a short time. Do better. Military families deserve better.

Very impressed! Very Very clean! Huge room, older bathroom but honestly nothing at all to complain about. Head and shoulders above so many hotels I've stayed at recently. So quiet I almost forgot it was a hotel at all, fantastic nights sleep. Didn't have to worry about my car in the parking lot either, way safer on base nowadays.

Rooms are old. Reserved a room with a pull out couch, got an air mattress instead. Was told linen was in the room, it was not. Two trips to the front office later and I have what should have been in the room. 2nd update, about two weeks ago I called to get a room no one answered, tried calling for a few hours and decided to find a hotel in town. Much better room and will never stay here again.

About average when it comes to an Air Force Inn. The regular rooms are actually quite large, almost TLF size, with a separate bedroom and living room. The rooms are clean, but clearly dated. Furniture isn't particularly comfortable and the bed was pretty small. WiFi is also pretty weak, but I was at least able to stream some shows during my stay so it got the job done. The rooms are quiet and I couldn't hear any of my neighbors. The check in lobby is completely separated from the rooms and tucked in to the corner of base. A bit of a hassle to find if you've never been here before. Staff was very friendly, but even in 2022 they don't have a true cleaning service. Over a week long stay, someone came in to my room twice just to take the trash and nothing else.
