This facility is a nightmare. Residents suffer from severe negligence: bedsores, inadequate food and water, and uncaring staff who seem completely indifferent. It’s disgraceful and dangerous. The administration’s lack of compassion and accountability creates an unsafe and unacceptable environment for vulnerable residents. I would strongly caution anyone considering this place for their loved ones.

My grandma has been in the nursing home for 3 years now. I have the honor to go and visit her. She truly is happy and enjoys her activities. She has all her art work and crafts proudly displayed in her room. She enjoys telling about the how they have cooking days, nail spa every other week, monthly visits from singers, pets, parties, church, and so much more. My grandma gets daily visits from our family too.Rena the activities director works hard to bring a variety of experiences and activities so the residents. The activities staff love the residents like their own family. The residents love all the hugs, encouragement, laughs and always being involved. Activities are the heart and soul of the facility. Rena does an exceptional job making sure activities are creative, fun, interacting and each resident gets involved.

Riverview Post Acute is spot on with my mom’s care and activities. The activities director Rena is fierce about making sure the residents are busy every day with exciting things to do. The residents line up early outside the activities door at 9:45 am for the 10:00 am activity and 1:45 pm for the 2:00 pm with such anticipation and excitement. Rena the activities director is extremely creative and loves to get the residents involved with monthly things to do. Rena teams in passionate about making sure all the residents are involved. She creates monthly themes and National Days from food, history, inspiration, education and so much more. The daily events include thinking games, board games, arts & crafts, cooking, pet therapy, inside/outside events, church, drama, theatre, sports, international days and a huge variety of amazing things. Her and her staff love to embrace each resident with respect, compassion and gentleness. The residents are family to the activities team!!! 💕💕💕

Riverview did a good job caring for my Grandmother during a season we were not able to anymore! They have a wonderful activity department that does a good job making the residence feel special. They bring in people to do their hair and makeup, which my Grandmother loved.
My Grandmother’s condition did not make it easy on the facility but they handled it well and made adjustments where needed to accommodate her.

Marcy is a huge asset to their team! She always looked out for my Grandmother, advocated when needed, making sure things were taken care of and changes were made when things weren’t working. She treated my Grandmother/Grandfather like family and helped us during a difficult time. We are forever grateful.

I’m very impressed with the activities department at this place! When I saw the calendar FULL of activities for every day I knew what a special place this was! Rena got me involved in doing the secret Santa for Christmas and it was such an unforgettable experience. Me and my son were able to shop and gift to one of the residents and it was so special for us.

My husband has stayed here for 3 weeks after hospital for pneumonia! Extremely nice staff including Administrator Brian, case worker Cielly and our rn Irma. The facilities are extremely clean! Activities music overall happy environment! Definitely recommend this facility!

My mom is a current resident of Riverview Post Acute, and I have to say the staff is amazing. She is well cared for. The people are friendly and always doing everything they can to make it easier on both mom and myself when I visit.
