DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Our smoke alarm kept beeping and we ended up having to take the battery out because the “ maintenance” (not to mention the maintenance man had a cigarette in his mouth and tried to walk in our room and didn’t seem like an actual maintenance man but someone who lived there that helps out) brought up a new battery then said he’d come back to redo it and never did. Our room was very horrible. There were no blankets, no pillows, no towels, no toilet paper, the cord to the tv was missing so we couldn’t even watch tv. The sheets were disgusting and had stains and cigarette burns all throughout them. The door didn’t have a top lock, there was no peep hole, the window was broken and the door had pry marks on it as if they had to pry open the door at one point. Everything about the place was disgusting and horrific including the people there. I guess people live there and there was always loud noises going around, car alarms going off all night, there was more than likely sketchy things going on outside. Just as a couple we were nervous to sleep and being a woman there was even worse. I got catcalled by one man every time I went outside with my boyfriend and when I was speaking to the front desk guy, the same guy walked in behind us and got super close to me when there was plenty of room to stand behind me. They do allow pets which worked for our other group we were with but the pet fee is $20 dollars an animal which is fully ridiculous when it only costed around 50-75 dollars to stay one night. It was a last minute option to get away from the storm in Florida but no matter what this was the worst stay I’ve ever had and it was so unclean and nasty that it’s not okay that they are still in business. The only thing I can say that was okay was the AC, and the desk staff was friendly when we were leaving but overall wasn’t helpful. There’s also a 10 minute window to go check your room out and get a refund but after 10 minutes, you cannot receive a refund. We also were told we got a one bed room and then were told that it was actually taken so had to get a two bed room which the beds were very small so it was uncomfortable. It was unhygienic, a uncomfortable bed, a horrible part of town, and definitely not okay for families, young couples, old couples , or kids to be around. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS NASTY MOTEL!!!
