The reception was nice & friendly. But unfortunately, the 2 bed room I booked last min for a last min emergency travel... Was disappointing. I couldn't sleep because there was a horrible musty smell in the room...maybe water damage or something but it was so bad I attempted to sleep with a mask on & sprayed an air freshener & body spray several times. I took off the bedding & used my own. The pillow cases had black faded scuff marks all over. A rip in one blanket. The bathroom sink & shower very low water pressure. The toilet was clogged after 2nd use with little usage of toilet paper. The fridge wasn't cold enough for my food & had to toss next morning. The bathroom door got stuck & is lose from hinges. I can't get over the smell...that was the biggest issue for me as it made me not feel well. I got 2 hours of very light sleep because of the smell.... It was mostly by the bed. It's definitely not worth $80+ for one night... Read reviews before booking. Lol.

Competent and friendly staff, but numerous problems with the room, unfortunately. One working light upon arrival, no tissues or paper towels, clogged toilet, and clogged shower drain. The shower head was too small for an adult and insufficient towels were provided.

On the second day, we came back to half of the room's electrical outlets dead, including the mini fridge and television.

It's too bad that the place is militantly anti-pet, because that would be one thing to actually recommend the hotel. Unfortunately, even at a low cost, it's hard to justify staying here if the room is nearly unusable. Very disappointed with this experience overall.

Cozy little rooms. The staff seems polite but curt. I would have preferred a little more appreciation and hospitality spirit. It is certainly an older hotel, but inside seem quite well kept and fairly modern. As it is an older property, outlets are a hard commodity. They have added lamps with power outlets to help alleviate the problem. Be prepared all of the rooms amenities (TV, Microwave, fridge, coffee-maker, etc) are all on one power strip and they keep the power strip turned off. So when you first enter the room, immediately find the power strip and turn it on so the fridge can start cooling down. Otherwise not a bad quaint little place.

The Red Bluff Inn is good for the price and as a stop over point. Our initial room had the breaker go off while we were running the microwave, we contacted the front desk staff and at 930 pm were asked to switch rooms instead of just switch the breaker on. They did not apologize and did not offer a discount but did offer for a full refund at the time of we did not want to swap.

Wifi is spotty but much worse towards the edge rooms of the Inn (where we were moved to). So slow that a website could not load. Rooms are okay with some of the tiles had fallen off of the baseboard moulding. Bed is comfortable and all appliances work well.

Best motel service in the Trinity area. Clean rooms, no smells... AC worked very well, was ultra cold even at low cold setting. Bathrooms were clean as well. Lady working the front desk is reasonable within limits. If you are nice, the world is nice so bring your A game. Perfect stop for the night, I will stay here again and recommend to a friend

The Room had some stuff behind the refrigerator. The microwave was broken and the management did swap it out. I was charged a 100.00 deposit upon check in which made me feel automatically like a criminal. I do not understand why because they have had experiences with others they judge based on appearance. Expedia's site did say other charges may apply, but I am sure they do not do this to all who check in. The rooms do need updating but other then this very pleasant. The management is very good.

The location was great, about a mile from I5, good for those driving through. A number of eateries around.||Hassle free check in and spacious, clean rooms with all necessary facilities: coffee maker, ironing board, enough towels and hangers for two. Rooms were a bit dated though, and there is no assigned parking. Value for money.||Also, there are bushes all around, and are not trimmed, so that sometimes you have to heavily lean/ brush against the bushes to get into your room. There are also loquite some bugs during the evening.

I had everything I needed. Refrigerator, great shower, comfortable bed, quiet night and a real drip coffee maker. And, of course, WiFi and a TV with wide selection of channels. Everything was thoughtfully done, and in good working order. The price was great.
