My 72 yr old sister fell and in the fall broke her nose. Upon arrival at hospital and doing all initial blood work, found that they needed to get somethings under control and manageable. When discharged from the hospital she was transferred to Poway Healthcare Center. From day 1 she had received the greatest care. A very caring and attentive staff. From the doctor, nurses, CNA’s, down to the cleaning and maintenance staff, they all have been wonderful, friendly and caring. Plus, the facility is very clean and smells clean. They pride themselves in the cleanliness of the facility. We, as a family, have been very pleased with the care my sister has received and so is she.

Poway healthcare center has exceeded my expectations the moment I knew about them! The admissions team including Lidia and Michael are always so responsive and make things easy to navigate.

The facility is filled with caring staff also including the administrator Austin, Pooja the rehab director, Izzy the DON, Tatiana social services director, and all the wonderful team members that coordinate the fun activities 🎤 🎶 💃

My Dad suffered a stroke. With their kind, professional care, my dad is happily home and strong in mind and in great health.

Want to give shout out to the star ⭐️ stand outs in my Dad’s care. CNA(s) Pawan, Dariana. Nurse(s) Jennifer, Karen, Merrari. Director of Nursing Israel, and Director Tatianna. The whole staff for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy.

Know they monitor everything. Take notes and have an action plan to get patients better.

Staff do their job well and they do care. During my Dad’s rehab, I was there almost every day to visit at different times of day. Their care is wonderfully consistent on all shifts. On many occasions I witnessed my Dad being cared for well, smiling and interacting with staff.

They were a few times I brought up some concerns. They are swift to respond, adjust accommodate.

This place is no good. One flew over the coo coos nest type place. They not only humiliated my mother by loudly calling out about her incontinence, they did not provide a walker, nor any compassion. Ive had to ask for water every single time i'm there for her, as well as updates on her. It's a pain for them to do the basic necessities as in caring for the patients that are under their roof, and being empathetic towards the family and the patient. There are a handful of nurses who do amazing, and I feel sorry that they are working in this messed up facility. This place needs to get training, or shut down... can't teach an old dog new tricks.

My grandmother was admitted to Poway Healthcare Center after having a knee replacement, the services were amazing, the nursing staff was attentive and really ensured my grandmother’s needs were met. The therapy team got my grandmother up and walking. We really appreciate all the help from the team at Poway!

The treatment here has been really good, most of the workers have been very kind, and very skilled in what they do. Would like to shout out physical therapy department, Maria. Tatianna and Rebecca people really helped me with my medical appointments, especially providing transportation to and from.

My Mom spent 4 weeks there recently. The vast majority of staff were professional and caring. The physical therapy really assisted with recovery. Speech therapy was excellent. There were optionally activities that really tried to engage patients. The only minor negative was the church services could non denominational.
