Arguably the nicest motel I have stayed at for the amenities and breakfast! We stayed here on a last minute decision to avoid driving through Satus pass at night during the bad weather. We were pleasantly surprised by how nicely furnished the room and kitchenette was! The breakfast was comparable to some of the high-end hotels I have stayed at. Very good!!

I really enjoyed this little town motel! It’s nothing fancy but the room was clean and the linens were soft and the continental breakfast was charming. It was a nice break on the Way to western WA. Close to down town and good restaurants. We also went to the Stone Henge monument about 5min away. I definitely will stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this motel! At first glance, the exterior doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that fool you. Once inside, I found the rooms to be clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. It turned out to be a great place to stay, and I’d definitely consider returning.

As far as motels go, one of the best I've seen. The breakfast was great! Ate it everyday. Santa Fe scrambled eggs, skillet potatoes, sausage links and patties, Make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, English muffins, bagels, yogurt, juices, cereal. Fantastic. The sheets and room were clean, refrigerator, microwave, iron, and there's good shower gel mounted to the shower wall. Easy to get extra pillows, towels, what have you. Cleaning staff respects "do not disturb" signs. TERRIBLE coffee. Like, for no reason. Tastes like cleaning solution and acid. Likely Windex and too hot of water. We also think we saw some blood splatter on the wall next to the toilet. I'm pretty sure it was explosive diarrhea. That coffee will get you. Skip that and toilet wall stains and maybe some new mattresses, and I'd give it five stars. We stayed in room 309.

We stayed at The Ponderosa for a long weekend getaway to explore the Gorge. We had a room with a kitchenette. The rooms were dated, but very clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing!! The free breakfast was really good as well! The staff was all friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again would recommend it to anyone!

I absolutely love this motel. Best service I got in a while and I constantly travel!!! The coffee is amazing, you get your own coffee machine inside the room, breakfast is five starts. Rooms are clean and spacious, prices are reasonable. I am looking forward to going back!!!

BEWARE*
Well, the reason for the one star review is this is the lowest that you can go or else I would give this a place a ZERO…. My father-in-law has stayed at this hotel now twice as he is working out of town for work the first time he stayed here he encountered a room that didn’t seem very clean and had a smell like dirty feet in it now fast forward to this week he has stayed there now two nights last night. He was woke up by what felt to be being bit. When he woke up to find that he had bedbugs biting him and flipped the sheets to only see them trying to scatter all over the place. He called the health department to report this matter as well, as told the front desk and the gentleman at the front desk asked him if he wanted a different room and that he would notify housekeeping. Reading through more reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue with this hotel I would strongly encourage individuals not to stay here as these bedbugs do not seem to be getting resolved and this problem is only escalating “ it’s a bedbug infestation” hotel.

We had a pretty great stay at the motel with the family! The room was clean, everything worked, check-in and check-out was easy and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly staff. We'll definitely try to book here again if we travel to the area. The location is quite convenient, actually walking distance to the town center, and just off highways. Bonus: kids liked seeing the deer eating apples off the apple tree near the building.
