Blocking the public from accessing a national forest trail and reporting it as your own land is not only stealing but its not very godlike. I'm pretty sure Jesus would want us all to enjoy the beautiful land on this earth, and not gatekeep it from quiet and peaceful hikers.

Pine Valley is a great camp with a beautiful location. There is plenty to do but at the same time it can get slightly boring. All of the cool stuff is an optional extra and I'm not a big fan of there pool. All in all its a good camp but you need to plan ahead.

The food was comparable to a soup kitchen (not awful but not yummy). My room was dirty: curtains looked and felt like they had never been cleaned; I opened them and found cobwebs in the corners; vacuum must be broken and mop too. One of e blankets was had junk on it--not washed. I stretched to give 2 stars because the staff was nice and the location is beautiful.

I have been going all my life. I don't understand some of these reviews that are hating on the camp. Every room is clean. If you say that your room is dirty, I am almost 100% sure that was made by you. I won't name anyone but someone said that they cram 12 kids into one small cabin. As I said before, I have been going there all my life and never once did I feel cramped in the cabins. The same person said that it must get hot in there but it doesn't. It also doesn't get freezing but if it does there's a heater. Anyway, great staff, scenery, and christian area.

Beautiful camp. Been going here for 40+ years. They have added zip lines several years ago. Archery & pool is available in the summer.
But, the bunk beds are miserable! The mattress are either very thin or thick & like rocks.
Queen beds are better.

But, beware of scheduling.
A few years ago, we had cockroaches all over our cabin!we ingormed the ofgice staff....our word was not enough, they wanted proof! I brought them proof several times every day for 3 days. We were not offered another room or not even a discount. Their attitude was "someone brought them here, we are not responsible . We will spray after you are gone".

The office staff is a huge problem!
The office staff also have no problem of "bumping" your reservations!
We always schedule a year in advance, but we havent had a "smooth" tranaction in years!
Unusually we get cabins, 2 people to a room. This year our reservation is in the spring. Even though we booked 9 months ago, the camp office staff has JUST NOW decided to bump our reservations so they can have a special event for themselves. We now have 3 to a room instead of 2. That means 2 have to sleep in the horrible bunk beds.
Plus the prices go up every year.
The conference room we reserved was also was canceled (due to THEIR special event) & we have to be cramed into a smaller meeting room.
For a "Christian " run camp i have to say i have been so surprised at their attitude & how the scheduling staff has treated us so badly. Their attitude is "if you dont like it, go elsewhere".

Pine Valley Bible Camp has grown and improved since I was last here 10 years ago. I can only give it praise for what they have done and the continued vision they have for growth and ministering to the campers.
