We had high hopes. The room is fine enough- there’s a mini fridge which is larger than most hotel mini fridges and the bed is comfy. The description said the room opened to the pool which to me meant something different than what it is. The most important and unfortunate thing is that there are no pool umbrellas. We ended up buying a day pass to a Hyatt. Super bummer. All we wanted to do was lounge at the pool with quick and easy access to our room not surrounded by Hilton/Hyatt type families. Once the sun went down and we could enjoy the pool area it was cool. Dig the non corporate vibe. It’s quiet. That being said they say there is music playing to create a vibe and there isn’t.

We just finished our first stay at this hotel and had an outstanding time!! The pool and hot tub area was very cute and clean and the pool was heated, which was appreciated. There was a community kitchen open 24 hours a day stocked with supplies for cooking, keurig coffee maker with pods available for use, and an ice machine. Our room was clean and private, bed super comfy. Donald the groundskeeper was excellent and checked on us often to make sure our needs were met. Best part - the location! We were across the street from a liquor store and a 10 minute walk from downtown. Would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Palm Springs!

We recently stayed in Room #7, the “Pretty in Pink” room & I must say we absolutely loved our visit. What we loved the most about this establishment was that it was not a big, fancy hotel. It was kind of old & could use some updating but the fact that it was small, I think there was 10 or 11 rooms total, is what made our stay very comfortable & cozy. Almost all of the rooms have a jacuzzi tub for 2 in the room which was really nice. The pool area was cozy as well. At night we were out in the pool & hot tub then sat around the fire pit relaxing, it felt like home. If u are looking for a big, fancy hotel this isn’t the place for u. If u are looking for a hotel that is really cozy & feels like home go check it out, u will love it.

Great hotel. The room was decorated so well. I loved it. I stayed in the "Rebel Without a Cause" James Dean room. Bed was comfortable. I never met any staff as my check in was done via text messaging. The hotel communicated thoroughly with me from when my room was ready about 1:45 pm until they knew I was almost there. The only thing I did not like was that there was a flood light/security light in the eaves outside my room windows and even with my blinds closed it was bright enough to keep me up and made it hard to fall asleep. I will definitely be back and look forward to enjoying the pool because I didn't have time to do that. The pool area was nice and attractive.

Canceled our reservation due to a "renovation". They said deposits would be returned in a week.
No deposit was returned. Ever. Wells Fargo confirmed this.
No one picks up the phone or responds to texts.
Finally got a text back two weeks later, and they lied again.
My husband and I used to love this place, back when it was owned by the original owners.
New management is unethical.
Don't trust them with your money.

Big thank you to Donald for the hospitality, and history lesson. We stayed here for two nights attending a friend's wedding - which took place on-site and was incredible. Each room is a different theme, we enjoyed everything about the Route 66 room. The pool & jacuzzi were great. Such a unique place, hopefully they retain the character & charm with the upcoming major renovation.

We stayed for a group buyout the first weekend of June and it was perfect. The hotel is older, it's got some major wear and tear (My husband even weeded the flower beds for them before our guests arrived), but the 11 room property is all yours and it made for an amazing weekend . We had access to the full kitchen, the pool all to ourselves and even access to the music system. The rooms are cute, and very clean. If you want to stay here and rent out the entire place you should. One of the best trips we've ever been on. In fact our group wants to make this an annual thing.

This is was our 3rd time staying here. The FINAL TIME, I might add. Our last visit was back in early 2019 before it had been sold over and over again. It use to be so nice with a couple who owned and or managed it well. A great nightly happy hour with wine and snacks. Along with a hot cooked breakfast with a daily menu change. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Now there's NOTHING! Not to mention it's a total dump. Dirty, rotted wood everywhere, broken glass, the exterior is peeling, the awning to welcome you is completely tattered and broken, trash in the parking area, broken door handles, the bathroom was disgusting, etc... ||||It's a complete DUMP! Do not waste your money. No more happy hour (well unless you want this-Pace picante sauce from a jar with stale chips and slushy margarita mix without tequila. The chips, salsa, and "margarita" mix were still sitting out for guests to "ENJOY" the next morning! It had been sitting out uncovered for over 15 hours! GROSS! No wonder why they're stale!||||Our original reservations were set and paid for April 2022. They canceled our reservations telling us they had to close for renovations until November! So we thought we'll wait until they're done. NO RENOVATIONS we're ever done! This place use to be a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and stay at a Motel 6. At least it's updated and clean. Not to mention about 1/3 of the price. We paid $500 for two nights. ||||Oh, and there's no one working the desk (at least from morning to around 3pm) so you're on your own if you need anything. The front desk guy is very nice, but this $hit show place is out of his control. I feel bad for him!||||PS: no blow dryers in the rooms either! I haven’t had to pack a blow dryer in over two decades because EVERY place we stay offers them. And we travel A LOT!
