I try to call my grandma everyday so she doesn't feel alone. I live all the way in Wyoming. Each day I have problems with people even answering the phone. Then when they do I still get no where most times. I'm told I'll be transferred but the phone goes silent and I get nothing. Mabye these people don't have loved ones in long term care facilities that is why they don't care to help. I call her because there are also times she puts he call light on and an hour later it hasn't been answered. If they don't want to be bothered to give a resident the phone then mabye phones should be put in each room so then loved ones would be able to get ahold of the people in the room.

This makes me feel like the reviews I read before writing this are true about this place. I working in a long term facility for over 6 years and phone calls and contact with the outside world mines so much to people who have most times lost there whole life they had before. My Grandma and all the other residents and patients deserve so much better.

I'm going to be going up the chain of command for California because this is just unexceptable. The workers act like your cutting the arm off when they are asked to bring a phone to someone.

All I can say about this place is were lucky to have gotten my mom out of there alive . The discharge ladies were the worst people I've ever had to deal with in my life !!! They gave us the run around for literally three months . They were not at all helpful and spent more time trying to find ways to keep my mom there than helping with discharge . I don't even know where to start to try and explain the kinds of things they did to stall releasing her . I hope to God your loved one never ends up there and good luck getting them out alive if they do .

The staff gave my Mom alot of attention to make sure she was clean. She liked the food. The nurses took s personal interest in my Mom health and well being. Also found communication with her nurses was excellent. I had peace of mind and felt secure that i knew what was going on, since we live out of the area and i could not be there regularly. Would definitely recommend this home for my loved ones.

The staff at the Oroville hospital Post Acute Center is excellent. I would like to thank the guys in the physical therapy department that helped me so much.
The whole staff does the best they can considering everything that's been going on and all the restrictions.
The rooms are a bit crowded with two people in a room. The food could use a lot of improvement by adding fresh fruit to the menu everyday and a bigger variety on the menu.

The receptionist up front is super rude. Did not even try to assist me when i called and just hung up the phone on me.
But the facility its self is awesome.

Oroville Hosp Rehab was one of the best facilities I have ever worked in or been in. The staff was professional and did everything they could to make me feel cared for. The food was very good and there was plenty available at meals plus snacks on demand. There was an ongoing problem at night as a resident with dementia would often yell out and wake people up. The staff did what they could but seemed to be stymied as to how to deal with this lady. When I left the lady was still there and very vocal still so I hope the staff was able to come up with a solution. Otherwise my care was excellent and the staff very kind and caring. I would highly recommend Oroville Post Acute Rehab.

My mother is being treated there. To tell you the truth, at first I wasn't so sure, but as time goes on, it seems to be fine. The nurses and CNA are very nice and the coordinator/social worker has been very helpful. My mother is very happy with her therapist. I hope she can recover enough to go back to her home. It is a very difficult situation and these places are dealing with many elderly people in the same situation, how they can stay upbeat is amazing!

My mom was meant to go on hospice care at a relative’s house, but due to the bear fire she was moved here. She only lasted 2 days before passing away from breast cancer. I was so afraid I wouldn’t get to see her before she passed due to Covid restrictions. The staff here did everything in their power to accommodate me, allowing me to be with my mom until the end. I’ll always be grateful for their kindness during the most difficult time of my life. Mandy, especially, was so kind and accommodating. Thank you again!
