Overall positive experience. Our room was spacious & comfortable, though the hotel is pretty close to freeway, we couldn't hear any traffic noises with the AC on. We booked a room in advance but had trouble locating the host upon arrival. We almost left but he showed up just in time. I had to remind him of the price he quoted me and insisted that's what I wanted to pay when he attemped to raise the price. He honored that & put us in a nice quiet room which was a good decision for business. Seems like they're having some trouble running the place & getting business since the lake is hardly what it used to be due to levels dropping so dramatically. However we stayed because we were traveling through. It was easy enough to locate and was the best rate around. They have a nice pool which was great on a hot summer day. Host was very friendly throughout the remainder of our stay. There are enough places nearby for supplies & food - highly recommend the Basshole restaurant less than a mile away. We wish the owners luck in the future & thank them for making right the rocky beginning of our stay. It was a pleasant one in the end.

We got stuck in the middle of a snow storm, the Interstate was closed both north and south and there were 2 options for a room and our car BARELY made it here. The woman at the counter was so gracious and accommodating. She got us out of the cold, explained that if the power went out because of the storm we would lose everything (which did happen). Come morning and over a foot of snow, the gentleman brought us water for the toilet and hot coffee and helped us dig the car out. I loved it here.

I was headed to Mexico for an offroad motorcycle race with a friend. Our truck was loaded with a bike and a ton of stuff that was not going to be fun to unload. ||||"hey, this exit looks quiet and there's a place to stay" pull in, talked to the guy for a bit, and it seemed like a great place to stay. We were both pretty tired from a long drive so didn't care. The owner had assured us it was a nice safe area to leave our gear in the back of the truck. With the layout of the building we were able to back right up to the room. We left the drapes open so we could see the truck. Rooms were nice an clean, basic, but clean. I enjoyed the hell out of the stay there. Wish I had more time to explore the area. Much better than some of these chain places. ||||It was pretty inexpensive to stay there. I will definitely remember this place next time I am going through there and needing a place to stay.

Super clean and cute, very friendly service. My husband and i were traveling to Oregon from California and every hotel was booked due to fires in the area. We saw this little gem from the freeway at 1:30 am and I'm so glad we stopped! Very reasonable rates. We will definitely be stopping here again.

Wonderful owners, kind and accommodating. Really helped me and the wife out during the snow storm that was going on. The room was very clean warm and comfortable, we had our doggo with us and they had no problem with her. Very reasonably priced and good location to food and gas. Will definitely be staying here again.

Was on the road later than I intended and came across this little motel just after dark. Very helpful owners directed me to food and made sure I got settled. My room was basic but clean and quite large. Good water pressure in the shower and a comfy bed. I slept great and would definitely return here. The price is 1/2 of what I paid in LaQuinta in Redding and a much quieter and comfortable stay.

Even though I have never stayed the night there, I personally know how friendly the owners are and how if you look at the positive reviews on how clean this place is. I wouldn't give the negative reviews much merit. You cant always make your customers 100% happy but only try to do your best.
I know because I've been cleaning their carpets for some years now and quite often.
