FUTURE COMMANDS BEWARE…Great place to stay…if you enjoy ants in your shower. Mold in your bathroom and cockroaches behind your fridge. Also FYI there’s no AC in any of the main building rooms so expect your room to be hotter than it is outside. By far one of the worst NGIS I’ve ever stayed in.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the worst hotel in the Navy, and maybe the West Coast. Bugs all the time in the room, no A/C, water pressure is garbage, the entire shower is broken and very bad. No elevator. This is the hotel that you get if you're homeless, as it is just better than living in under a bridge. Certain persons at the front desk are also very rude and unforgiving. Don't recommend engaging with them longer than necessary. (Her name is Crystal, as I feel the need to specify because all the other staff has been wonderful and kind).

Terrible place. I stayed in 2020 and had a major issue with their policies and how the staff treated people. I worked nights while staying here, and they took a huge issue with me posting a "Do Not Disturb" sign up during the day so I could sleep. I was constantly harassed by staffed, kicked out of bed so they could clean, and threatened with disciplinary reports to my command. They refused to compromise the slightest with my schedule. Even ships let you post a day sleeper chit on your rack. This place needs to rethink how they treat sailors.

You can’t give zero stars, I tried. Absolutely WORST Navy Gateway inn I’ve seen. There’s no AC, the carpet was absolutely disgusting. There was a roach on the floor. The door didn’t shut all the way, I felt if there was a strong wind the door would fly open. The TV didn’t work. The shower was so dirty I felt like I needed a shower after showering. The toilet seat was an old cushioned seat, YUCK very unsanitary. I could go on and on but it doesn’t matter they will continue to take the Sailor’s money and not fix issues.

Was a little difficult to locate resisation front desk . But the rooms equal a 4/5 star deluxe hotel room.
Very clean , modern updated - quite room w/ apartment size refrigerator - freezer , microwave , coffee maker , big screen TV ceiling fan , AC/Heat , iron/board , hair dryer & personal safe.
I highly recommend & will be back..
Only downside if your disabled or you are aged , ask for a dwn stairs room . Being 80 yrs old with health issues & this being my first time , I was on the third floor w/out an elevator...
I got more exercise than ~ needed .
