I checked into my room on December 31, 2024, probably around 7:25 pm. The tall guy checked me in ( sorry I’m not good at remembering names sometimes) I believe he is one of the owners of the Motel 6 on McCain. He was very nice and made the check-in smooth for us. I paid for two days. The room I got was clean. The only thing wrong with the room was the microwave was missing the plate thing that goes inside of the microwave. The top part of the icebox was kinda dirty. The entrance door of my room had something stuffed into the peephole. Look like it could have been tissue. Also saw two small spiders. I understand it’s getting cold out and they are trying to come in from the cold. Other than that I was able to rest easily. Now on my checkout date which was January 2, 2025 everything seems to be going smoothly. I went to the front it probably was around 10:50am because my checkout time was at 11am. I handed the black lady ( I don’t know what the lady's name is) my hotel card and proceeded with checking out. She printed out my receipt and I asked her when my $50 deposit be back on my card. She said it takes about 24 hours for the money to appear back on my card. I was like ok and thank you. I walk from the desk to wait to the side where the brochures are located. I was waiting for an Uber with my children in the front. We probably were at the front for like 25 minutes. One Uber was on the way then that Uber driver canceled the ride so they sent out another one and it took another 15 minutes for that Uber to get there. We were waiting inside because it was cold outside. When it got down to like the last 4 minutes of the ride arriving I told my children to gather their things. However, the black lady walked over and say can we wait outside with our things. Like she was shewing as off. She was being rude. Like I just paid 2 days to be at this establishment. I just looked at her like she was crazy because I was already gathering my things before she came being rude.I could have waited inside until my ride arrived. Like don’t be rude with me especially when I’m with my kids. I can get rude back but instead I choose peace. Think about how you treat people. I like Motel 6 on McCain never had any problems with this establishment until January 2, 2025 with the black lady.

Front office has a strong odor of cleaner. Rooms are awful. Bedding is filthy beds are sunken in and there are bed bugs. If at all possible steer clear of this location.

We use motel 6 all over the US. We use our business card. They would not take it. They said it was franchise policy. I had to use my personal card.
Then I get to the room. The beds were worn out. They sag in the middle and when you move it sounds like metal scraping the floor.
Very disappointed!
