Este lugar no sirve. Por favor no renten aquí. Si son de las personas que trabajan súper temprano les advierto que no los dejaran Dormir no estoy exagerando los vecinos son extremadamente ruidosos no respetan para nada y la manager no hace absolutamente nada a ella no le importa nada y nada más te dice que hablara con ellos pero jamás hace nada por más videos o pruebas que le enseñes nunca hace nada. Ojalá los que estén aplicando aquí vean este review y no renten en este lugar. No puedo esperar a que se venza mi contrato para largarme de aquí.

The management has no structure and there’s a new landlord and maintenance person every 3 months. Wouldn’t recommend.

I lived here for many years and really found this place to be HOME. It makes me sad to read all the negative reviews. The manager, Beatrice, was absolutely awesome. She cared about everyone and she took great care of the property. If you needed anything she was willing to help. Ray is also fantastic! We left the apartments because we bought a house but we will always love Miss Beatrice and will have a special place in our hearts for Montoya Gardens!

Doesn't deserve one star. I lived in these apartment for a year, and in that time I heard gunshots on several occasions, and at one point came home to find a group of US Marshalls in the parking lot. The tenants are incredibly sketchy. I had my car broken into more than once. Had laundry stolen from the on sight laundry room. Neighbors are incredibly loud because the walls are paper thin. My heater never worked, my bathroom medicine cabinet mirror was missing one side of the sliding mirror door, the door handle on my sliding glass door broke off one day while trying to open the door. They fixed it with one screw and it happened a second time. Two of my stove burners never worked. The "24hr maintenance" is a joke. I never got a response when calling the pager, after hours or during business hours. This place is just a joke, and they are scam artists. I'm battling a collections agency now because MG Apts says that I didn't give notice to move out, and that they didn't get my keys until 9/13/13 and they're going to report it on my credit and rental history. Luckily I still have the email that I sent as my 30 day notice, and the email that I sent on August 24th saying that my keys were in the office dropbox and I had moved out. Conveniently for them, the property manager that I dealt with in the beginning and with whom I had had all communication "no longer is with the company". DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! You will regret it. Don't be fooled by the San Pablo zip code either, it's in a sketchy area on the border with Richmond.

Rent elsewhere if posible!!!!
- Old dilapidated complex with new paint so don't be fooled.
- Paper thin walls and huge old windows that need to be updated.
- ALL floors throughout the apartment screech with EVERY step, so living downstairs is IMPOSSIBLE.
- Cops are called frequently.
- People/ bums are always breaking into- mail boxes/ cars; people always digging through trash bins.

Nothing good to say about this place, other than the Property Managers Beatrice and Ray are nice and personable.

THIS PLACE DESERVES 0 STARS. BEWARE, WHEN MOVING OUT. DON'T EXPECT TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ARM AND LEG. NO MATTER HOW CLEAN YOU KEEP YOUR PLACE, THEY WILL MAKE UP ANYTHING TO MAKE SURE YOU WILL NOT GET ANY OF YOUR DEPOSIT BACK.......ALSO CARS GET BROKEN INTO LEFT AND RIGHT, SO THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE MAINTENANCE MANAGER NAME RAY. HE IS THE ONLY HONEST PERSON.
