Mojave Resort - Palm Desert, California

My new favorite getaway spot! They've done such an amazing job remodeling this resort, somehow managing to make it feel fresh and modern without losing the vintage style. It was really hot when we were there, so I loved having a beautiful and comfortable room to escape the heat, and meeting at the pool for a night swim when the temperatures dipped a bit. The room, the pool area, the morning breakfast boxes, the bicycles, the staff... all excellent! I cannot wait to stay again.

We absolutely loved this place. Drew checked us in and showed us around the property and explained how things worked, as well as showed us to our rooms and made sure everything was to our liking. The pool was heated perfectly, the hot tub was excellent, nice soft music playing, cozy fire pits, very tranquil and relaxing!! The rooms still have their mid century modern look/feel, they are very clean and really comfortable beds! Fridge stocked with beverages, beer, and little mini bar and espresso machine. They offer a little breakfast cooler service each morning that is just enough to get you by. If you’re a big breakfast eater it wouldn’t be enough. The manager, Al, is great and a kind gentleman. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend. We will be back! Only pics I had were out our window one morning and the pool one afternoon.

We splurged for Christmas and the Mojave Resort was a perfect place to land. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and is far enough off the main road that it’s quiet. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is heated and the spa is lovely. I loved the fire tables at night and the staff was very attentive and nice. We booked the king suite and just to note, the fireplace is for aesthetics only and is not operable. We would stay here again. We had a lovely time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mojave Resort even more than we expected to. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool and hot tub were sparkling clean, and the fire pit areas were very cozy at night. The rooms were nicely decorated, with very comfortable beds and soft towels.

Service and communication were both excellent. We were in communication with the hotel about potentially changing our plans due to a snow storm in Denver, and they were very accommodating. Fortunately, we didn't have to change our plans and were able to make the trip. Once we arrived, every staff member we spoke with on site was helpful and welcoming.

We were there in November so it wasn't too hot, but I could see that the small air conditioner in the room might have a hard time keeping up in the summer months.

We will definitely return to the Mojave Resort next time we're in the area and I hope it's soon!

I had a wonderful stay at Mojave Resort, where the staff truly made me feel at home. After my house in LA became inhabitable, I found solace in the welcoming environment of the resort. The incredibly friendly team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering a discounted long-term rate that eased my transition during this challenging time. Their understanding and flexibility for those of us who are temporarily displaced made a world of difference. I was able to stay for 11 days, and I genuinely appreciate their kindness and support. Thank you, Mojave Resort, for turning a difficult situation into a positive experience!

Great mid century style resort in the heart of Palm Desert. Went to an anniversary party and long weekend here. Excellent staff, so friendly and accommodating. The party was outdoors, sitting by the fire pits under the twinkle lights, so fun!
The rooms have really comfortable beds and pillows. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Beautiful tile throughout the property & stone fireplaces, very mid century modern.
The pool & hot tub are in the courtyard with a view of the mountains and palms. Very relaxing. Also bike rentals & great bar wear with the mid century vibe that is outdoor friendly.
We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommended for a Palm Desert getaway.

We really enjoyed the remodel!|The landscape, fire pit areas and pool/jacuzzi are beautiful and inviting. Did a nice job on the rooms. We really liked the nostalgic mid century porcelain floors and the new beds. The staff continues to be a 10.|Would be fun for a family or friends gathering. We'll be back.

This hotel is so cute and has been remodeled in a way that gives it that mid-century Palm Springs feel but with a more modern and clean feel. It's tastefully decorated and had really nice details that made it feel comfortable and clean.

There is a great pool with lots of chairs, tons of outdoor lounge chairs and a fire pit, bikes to take for a ride, a water and ice room, the room was really clean and spacious, and the staff was very kind (checked on us, asked us how our stay was going, etc). They also offer included breakfast brought to your door, which we did not end up getting but was a nice touch. The rooms also have chairs outside the door so you can sit and relax.

Our only suggestion is regarding the slightly less than ideal room/sleeping situation. It's very hot in Palm Springs and the room got really warm because one wall is entirely floor to ceiling glass windows/door. You have to keep the blinds shut all day or else everyone at the pool can see directly into your room. We had them closed all day but still needed the AC at night...however it was old and extremely loud, so was hard to sleep. Additionally, the bed had a thick down mattress topper attached that was very hot and caused us to sink into the bed since it was so soft. Would perhaps consider replacing these two things as it was not a good nights sleep, but overall the property was a great stay and a good deal for the price!
