I visited Pacifica in Chino because I was looking for a place for my father-in-law. I was really impressed with everything. The staff was very nice and the people living there were all smiling. The rooms were spacious and I liked all the amenities. It has good energy or atmosphere. I'm currently working towards getting my father-in-law in. Just trying to get his affairs in order.

The facility is beautiful and the front desk staff is nice! I really love the elderly people and I hope that God grants me a long life to become apart of a senior community.

Yesterday, I had an interview for a resident care coordinator. The director of the community is awesome and had a great attitude. Isbael !

I ended up rejecting my application because of the office manager “currently”, her attitude towards me was very condescending. I have over ten years of experience in assisted living facilities as both Med Tech, Care giver, and as a Resident Care Coordinator. Not only that but, I have a bachelors in Health Sciences and other skills and experience related to geriatric care.

I explained my skills to the director not the officer manager during the interview.

There is one job that I have on my resume that I don’t use as a reference, but as experience. The office manager was so adamant to call the company to verify, and stated and assumed that I must be hiding something. Which is why I don’t want her to call . I explained that I had plenty of references that I could give. Then she said why do I have my school job on my resume, well I believe you only need the last five years of experience on your resume.

Instead of the back and forth I just said you know, please reject my application.
I felt so insulted, especially when she said “well how do we know if you can do the job” it was like an insult especially when she didn’t give me the interview Isbael did.

Lastly , everyone knows if you worked in one assisted living you can work in them all. Experience, education, and training makes someone able to do the job not a reference.

I had a several reference I could have given. However, I can honestly see why companies have high turnover rates due to staff superiority.

I explained my references to Isbael during the interview, and she never mentioned anything else.

I just wanted to leave this message, because I honestly felt really insulted by the officer mangers attitude and tone.

She made me feel really uncomfortable, so I could only imagine how it would have been if I would have worked there.

Tammy and the staff at Pacifica are top-notch. We were looking on moving my mother into Pacifica but other circumstances prevented us from moving forward. However, Tammy and her staff were just great working with us to make things happen. Thought the facility was very nice and inviting. Wish we could have put mom here in the end.

Elsie - Faith In Angels Hospice

My agency has been providing hospice care for several years at Pacifica Hillsborough! This is a gorgeous community, with so many luxurious amenities.
Their Executive Director Jennifer goes above and beyond to ensure all the residents are taken care.
Her care staff is very compassionate and treat their residents like family.
I would highly recommend Pacifica Hillsborough to anyone who has a loved one looking for an assisted living facility.

Glad to have found a place for Dad where he will be taken care of and cared for ... a place where he can be safe and comfortable.

Pacifica Hillsborough in Chino, is a beautiful building. Looks clean and well cared for. Walking thru feels warm and inviting.

We appreciate Tammy, who assisted us in not only giving us a tour of the facility and providing us with all information we needed to decide if this would be Dad's home, but that she was able to help in the timely manner we requested.

The staff/caregivers welcomed him and made him feel at home. It's good to know that this facility has a calendar of planned activities for residents every day. Seeing Dad quickly adapt and interacting with other residents is the best.

The decision to place Dad in a Memory Care Facility was not easy, but after seeing the quality care and the smiles on caregivers as they interact with residents and the staff overall answering our questions, this had to have been the best choice.

Very lovely, clean and the maintenance team is amazing! Would have rated them higher if they would do what they say in most cases. Some things they said they would they didn't after I moved in but they are minor.
