We had a wonderful time at this house. The Owner was very welcoming!!! The house was beautifully decorated and the views were breathtaking. The bedrooms were very comfortable and large. The Kitchen fully equipped and was very clean. This was one of a lifetime experience because the views were amazing!!! I would love to come back and would recommend my friends.

We booked this place months ago to visit a friend in twon and it was terrible. Extremely overpriced for what you get. The median of prices is at almost half of this, a little presumptious in my eyes. Sounds like another price gouging air bnb rental home trying to squeeze every penny from bookings. The home hasnt been painted in years and smelled moldy. There was also dead cockroaches everywhere, overgrown garden , just simply disgusting. Now I cant even go to whittier without thinking of this distateful place. The design is another story, not why i gave it 1 star. Personally im not a fan of the 80s style but if you are this place will probably fit you. So disappointing but please dont take my word for it, book it and see for yourself.

I booked this AirBnb as a last minute option for my grandpas funeral because it was the only option that was big enough to host my large family for a nice, quiet reception to honor him. This place was absolutely filthy and they did not put any effort into cleaning. Views were nice, but it was not worth the price
Pros:
- views
- responsive host, who said she would give us free parking, but it doesn't make up for the lack of cleanliness prior.

Cons:
- EXTREMELY DIRTY. We found an open condom wrapper underneath the bed, USED womens sanitary pad with blood on it shoved in a moldy cabinet
- foul stench
- toilet was not secured to floor, excreting a foul sewage smell everywhere
- cockroaches, millipedes
- burnt out electrical plugs all over the house with stains exploding all over the plugs
- blood looking stains on curtains
- stained blankets, dirty towels shoved into cabinets
- broken dishwasher
- stained/smelly couches
I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. This place just added more stress to an already stressful weekend. I appreciated that Sonia asked if we wanted cleaners and gave us more parking spaces, but this does not excuse the health hazard and lack of cleaning that was done prior. She apologized and said the previous guests were "really bad" but it is their responsibility to have everything cleaned prior. We had small kids and elderlies and it was not a safe environment for them. We also did not want people coming in and out of the house during a private time with our family. I would strongly advise against booking this place

The House was AMAZING and my family and I loved looking out at MARVELOUS views in each large window. Our hosts were AWESOME!
Sonia was very thoughtful and accommodating. The only minus was charging extra for for the chairs and table. It was a wonderful experience for my family. Merry Christmas!

The house had Pros and Cons which I will list out both to be fair

PROS
1. Friendly host
2. Big spacious house
3. Amazing View
4. Nice balcony
5. Comfy beds
6. Good furniture

CONS
1. Missing Toilet paper
2. Main floors bathroom toilet wasn't flushing for the duration of our stay
3. Sticky dirty stains on the floor that weren't cleaned
4. Two of the rooms were in a totally isolated part of the house not connected to the main house, which wasn't clear
5. Host was still cleaning the house after our specified check in time
6. Front door lock wasn't working battery was dead. Were told to use garage to leave
7. Missing basic kitchen supplies like Sugar, Salt, etc

It’s a beautiful property with a great view. A great place all around.Value for money, spacious, lovely neighborhood and so peaceful. The outdoor jacuzzi was definitely a highlight! It was easy to communicate and Sonia was extremely helpful. Thank you and hope we can return one day!!
