An absolutely delightful experience! It's basically like staying in a museum, the majority of the house is furnished with the original furniture, lighting, wallpaper, etc. There are magazines from the early 1900's, a working piano, furniture that the first owner built. The current owner, Jane, is incredibly kind and happily offered to give my partner and I the tour and history of the house (or just let us get settled in if we weren't interested). I will be recommending Lodi Hill House to anyone planning to visit or even pass through.

Wonderful (and affordable!) gem in Lodi. My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip and loved it; it's a step back in time, but still very comfortable. There's a kitchen if you want to store any food or do any cooking, as well as a large sitting room with wonderful old furniture and magazines from the '40s and '50s. We had the house to ourselves on the first night, and shared it with another couple and their dog on the second; but hardly heard a peep other than some pleasant conversation in the kitchen. There's a lovely wraparound porch that's great for enjoying a morning coffee. Walking distance to downtown (about 10-15 minutes). The proprietor, Jane, was extremely accommodating and gave us a fascinating tour of the house when we first arrived. We will definitely be staying here again when we're back in town, it beats a boring old hotel any day.

This place is amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights. So happy that we did. So much history that Jane was kind enough to share with us. Jane made us feel at home. We were able to use the kitchen and laundry. The house was immaculate. We loved sitting on the front porch in the early evenings, listening to the wind in the trees. It was pure joy. The house is close to lively downtown Lodi. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is our second stay at Hill House. We throughly enjoy our stays here. Jane is an amazing host and keeper of this majestic home. The history of this home is just amazing. And to have the original furnishings, art, etc is just like stepping back in time. I can’t wait to come back again.

What a fabulous and unique experience. Our family rented the entire house and what an amazing opportunity for the grandkids to ramble around a historic Victorian home. Better yet, the owner Jane lives close by and takes care of every detail. The linens and towels are top tier, bedding and pillows super comfortable. Jane's husband even presented our grandkids with action figures he created from his 3D printer. A great stay!

This is a beautiful old house! It is like stepping back in time. They have a large fenced in yard perfect for the dogs. There is a shared kitchen and common room where we enjoyed coffee and games. The house is very clean and the host Jane is very kind and accommodating.
The location is FANTASTIC about 0.5 miles from downtown. If the weather had been better we would have walked to and from the house.
I definitely recommend Lodi Hill House!

Ten Stars 🌟 For Lodi Hill House!
If you want a super fun, unique, historic, relaxing and overall fabulous stay in Lodi…this is it! First and foremost, Jane the host is incredible! She is so friendly and accommodating and makes herself available for anything you need. The check-in process couldn’t be easier. Jane gave me an amazing tour of the entire gorgeous Victorian mansion explaining all the interesting family history. The mansion and the beautiful property seem like something right out of a Hollywood movie! The reasonable room prices blew me away! When I first saw the listing on Google I almost didn’t open it thinking it was over my budget…but I was very wrong! Each room is unique with its own charm. I stayed in the quaint Turret room and loved it! The bed was so comfortable and all the furnishings and decor made it such a memorable visit. The location couldn’t be better…just down the street from the Lodi city center and all the great shops. I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I had at Hill House and the Ten Star ⭐️ service I received from Jane!
