Mi experiencia fue muy buena y placentera ya que el lugar está de lujo, limpio y muy agradable. Para mi no fue problema el ruido del tren, precio razonable pero lo único que se me hizo excesivo fue los $30.00 dls por día de estacionamiento, considero que $10 o $15 dls estaría bien pero de ahí a lo demás todo perfecto. Regresaría otra vez.

I booked this as a hotel and was a little surprised to see that there were ear plugs placed next to the beds. Turns out my room was directly next to the train which comes every ~10 mins with bells and horns all through the night. If you’ve ever seen the movie My Cousin Vinny, it was that but worse. Don’t ever stay here and risk losing an entire nights sleep.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this property. I work remote for Stanford & come to town about 4x a year and will only stay here from now on. I used to stay at Nobu, but wanted to try the Menlo Park area & im so glad I did. This is a true gem!
I felt SO safe with a code needed to access the building & a room code as well. The room was gorgeous and didn’t leave me feeling cramped like a hotel does. This location had a beautiful pool & hot tub with amazing cabanas. A library with a golf simulator, grills, a restaurant, tap house, the list is never ending. I have never been so impressed before.
The location is also walking distance to numerous locations such as 2 gas stations, restaurants, shopping centers, and Safeway. It’s also a 9 min Uber ride away from campus.

To those worried about the train. Yes, it’s loud. However, it stops running around midnight and doesn’t start again until maybe 6-7am. They also give you ear plugs & have white noise machines. Neither my 10 year old nor I lost any sleep due to it. We slept through it uninterrupted every night.

The customer service, friendliness, and helpfulness is top tier. I cannot recommend this property enough. I’m going to look for their locations in other states as well! Nothing compares, trust me!

As a note, There is only a TV in the living room, I wish there was one in a bed room, but it didn’t bother us. Neither of us turned the TV on, she just likes to sleep with it on at night.

The Good:|| - 5 min walking distance to downtown Menlo Park| - Upscale apartment complex with good amenities, including pool, communal kitchen area, plenty of comfortable outdoor seating areas, etc| - Modern, clean apartment equipped with basic needs for families (plates, utensils, glasses, pots, etc)| - Responsive support by text, as long as you expect “airbnb-like” services, rather than true hotel-like services||The Bad (enough to take out all of the Good):|| - The apartment we were assigned (148) was situated next to the train tracks. Right next to the train tracks separated by a small 2 lane local road. Freight trains run past in the middle of the night…many, many times throughout the night. The trains blare their horns as they pass by without fail, since the complex is next to a crossing. This is clearly a known issue, as they proactively provide high end earplugs next to the bed. This was not a great sign when we entered the apartment, but we were hoping for the best, since it was a new apartment complex and one would have expected they took care of installing the best insulation/sound-proofing possible next to the train tracks. They. did. not. The earplugs did not help. Nothing helped. It was the worst 2 nights of sleep for the family we’ve had in a very, very long time. ||If you can sleep through anything, we highly recommend this place. Try the delicious Hat Yai Chicken at Farmhouse Thai 2 mins down the street. ||If you sleep like a normal person, think twice before booking.

Incredible rooms and amenities for a great price. Loved my stay here. The location loses a star simply because the train is really loud as it passes by. Likely wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper, but they provide earplugs and a white noise machine and it didn't really affect me too bad.

Would definitely stay again!

Really nice building, lots of young people and dogs! Rooms perfect and equipped for cooking etc. Clean also-like new. Help was easy to get on the phone, but request a room on the opposite side of the building relative to the train tracks which are quite close to one side (where I stayed). Otherwise really nice place!

I had an excellent stay at locale Menlo Park. The building is beautiful with high end amenities. The room is spacious, has quality fixtures and furnishings, I felt like I was staying at the JW- but with a full kitchen! My experience with the staff was very positive as well.

My family and I just moved into the area and found this hotel for my family to stay at while we moved into a new home near by. We picked this “hotel” because of the convenience to our new home and that it had a the amenities we needed for my child and elderly parent. I will have to say the amenities inside the place is fantastic don’t be fooled by shiny objects. You are right next to a train crossing and station, so the amount of noise from the trains and horns was terrible. They have ear plugs next to the bed because it is so loud and it goes on all night, no joke pretty much every hour. The windows are maybe double pane at best and that noise will come in (hence the complimentary ear plugs). It is a minimum 2 night stay and very over priced. It you are looking for a good night sleep I would advise against this as there are better and quieter for the amount of money they are charging.
