We went up there this morning when they opened because we woke up at 6 this morning to our bedroom floor being flooded. The door was locked and I heard them say “oh my god” before unlocking it. The lady said “we just opened.” They were very dismissive to the issue, no reassurance. One lady who seemed to just be a leasing agent was the only one talking. “We know, a pipe busted, we have a carpet guy out there now who’s gonna look at it.” Just very rude and not how you professionally treat tenants who almost pay $1,000 to live in an apartment that also had sewage issues in the very beginning of us living here and refused to clean up caked tissue, feces and piss of the side walk during the summer for almost three months. Because “we don’t deal with maintenance“

My Boyfriend and I moved here March 8th and in order for us to move in we had to pay first months rent ($720) plus a $600 deposit. It was paid and everything was fine. A tornado hit Sherwood pretty bad a couple days before rent was due on the 1st of April and we had lots of family suffering and we were unable to pay rent specifically that day. Moral of the story is I’m guessing the eviction process started the first damn day because after letting them know when the money would be paid they say that there is not much we can do. The day that we let them know we would be paying they changed our locks without notice without a writ of restitution and all. All I received from them was a paper notice on my door posted on the 6th that we had to vacate by the 10 and they changed the locks on our door 4 days later.

Update: THE ONLY REASON rent wasn’t paid on time was due to their staff not communicating properly. When discussed how much rent would be the day I could have the money I was given an exact amount in which that day came and it was more than what IRENE stated it would be. I called to confirm if more than one money order could be brought since that was the only way we could pay and we were told No at first. After a long day of figuring out the only way we could get the $900 with the remaining balance is if we get a MAIL REFUND. After that was done and all else failed I called that same evening and was told all of a sudden I could have brought multiple money orders.I now today still would like to take legal action considering I can’t get another place until I pay Them $7,000 and it’s NOT HAPPENING with the harassment and lies we dealt with living here.I wasn’t given the option to fight in court or have a court date and I had more than enough proof to file an Unlawful Detainer lawsuit. If anyone has any advice please don’t hesitate. Tasha is and will forever be a memory in my head due to her lack of ethics and common sense.

One the ladies in the office is a good person. She was very helpful and understanding. But the office manager is another story . Call corporate office and voice your concerns that's only way to get her to cooperate. Manager is the worst I've seen. I paid over $1000 in late fees every two months.

This is not a good places to come they have roaches and ants and it’s nasty no one would want to live in this type of place and you can’t even go to the pool unless you have a bathing suit no T-shirts no swim shorts just a bathing suit even for the people that don’t want to show all of there body and some people can’t find stuff to fit there size its ridiculous but this is not the place to come go somewhere else. And for the price that you have to pay a month for this apartment is MOST definitely not the place to be with how small it is and nasty. ‍♀️?

Had I read the reviews before I moved in I would have NEVER moved in. First let's start off with this rent here cost the same a house. Secondly these apartments are falling apart literally. I fell through their stairs and management told me they're not responsible for any personal injuries but they wanted me to pay rent on time after I missed work from the injuries caused by them. Thirdly I only been here since the middle of March and I've had to make a couple of maintenance requests already but the most recent on is the bathroom cabinet. Which is the cabinet that's in the picture on the floor. So please read these reviews before you decide to live here. It's not worth it. ‍♀️

I have just moved in and I have been treated very well. The manager is amazing and so helpful. The apartment is very nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful. The swimming pool is kept very clean.

Do NOT rent here! I moved in on September 8th and moved out September 15th! Roach infestation, raggedy, and dirty/nasty! Not to mention having an electrical issue also. And behind the refrigerator was ridiculous! The door frames look like they been up since 1940 and the refrigerator had mold in it! My apartment was not move in ready! To be paying 800 dollars in rent, it was definitely not worth it! And don’t get me started on the manager and her smart mouth! The apartments can’t be as raggedy as they are and yall have poor customer service too! I’m glad to be gone!
