If you want a quiet, peaceful, extended stay, there's no better place around. The manager has a big heart, and Is genuinely a kind person. If you want to be pampered go to the Hilton. Thank you Mike and staff, you guys rock🤘💯

There starting to turn this place around. Used to be no one there or in the office so you couldn't get a room. Still is a little bit. Need to go online to book. Mike is awesome but his wife Terri is down right rude and obnoxious. If you like obnoxious people go down to the holiday express. She's the manager is never there and thinks she's above all who come there. She's good for the company as long as she stays in her office. Cause when she comes out that dog will bite you. Forget about it if you have a problem or concern.

Creepy owner that leaves flirtatious notes to young girls staying by themselves. Also lets their multiple kids constantly run and play in the parking lot almost running into parked and moving cars. Stay on their good side as much as possible this is not run like a business.

This was recommended to me by a friend who lives locally. I stayed there a few times for two nights each in 2014. They had the cheapest rates in town with as low as $58 on weeknights and $78-86 on weekends. New owners had just taken over and they were open to any feedback. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave me the handicap room each time which was huge. As I got to know them, they said if I stay frequently enough I'd get discounts. Was never clear on how they tracked that. My only complaint was I couldn't book through Hotels.com and get credit towards a free night stay but thought I was saving enough to balance that out.||August 2015:||Called for reservation in Sept. 2015 and rates are now $94/night. Checked Hotels.com and The Best Western down the street and closer to my daily destination is $93/night or $96/night with the option to cancel as late as a couple days before I arrive. On top of the convenience of booking online, it also a bit nicer, more updated motel and offer continental breakfast. It was worth the extra $4 for the weekend and since I go there a few times a year, I am earning a free night as well.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Spend the little bit extra for a better place. this place has bed bugs in every room (info gained from long term tenant), I got scabies from head to toe and it took 3 months of medical attention for it to go away. Our room had blood stains on the mattress itself AND the sheets, along with massive pee stains all over the bed. The mini fridge was ok, when it worked. It leaked water on the floor causing mold. The staff member my wife and I dealt with was a total joke, I work graveyard so when he felt we needed to pay up rent he would send his son to pound on the door waking me up knowing I needed to sleep. His son hit my truck with their little cart they ride in their parking lot and caused damage to my rear bumper. The neighbors smoked WAY TO MUCH pot to were the smoke was getting into our room and when we would go say something about it the response I got was "oh well", the Linda vista mo relationship is a joke. Spend a bit more and avoid this place like the cancerous disease that it is

The positive: this motel opened up their doors to us on New Year's Eve. The lady was most welcoming. We had just returned from a Christmas holiday to find we could not get to our home. A winter storm had taken our neighborhood hostage with downed trees blocking streets, 3-4 feet of snow, debris all over the place and power had already been out for 5 days with no date as to when the power would be back on. The next day we asked the lady if we could spend another night. She said certainly. That evening the man in the office implied he needed to be paid now because we could be dead beats. My husband went and paid the bill and we made reservations for several more nights at the Best Western Amador Inn. Best move we could make. Amador Inn was more comfortable, served a hot breakfast and gave us a discount on the room because they were familiar with our situation as many of us in the same situation were staying there. This motel needs to work on pleasant interaction among their customers!!!!!!

The manager is rude and screams and yells a lot. If you need something, it's like a ghost town. You can never get ahold of any staff. I've seen more people come try and get a room only to leave cause they don't answer the door phone.

I have stayed here several times over the last few years. I always have a great night sleep. Marje and her husband Larry are so kind and very accommodating. Nice, clean, quiet older motel...just what I like. Marje's muffins in the morning are to die for if you get there before they run out. Just learned her and her husband have sold the motel, but its still worth a stay. I recommend Linda Vista Motel to anyway traveling in the area. I will be there again in July on my way to Tahoe. Great area to explore too...lots of great history.
