Let me preface this with the fact I wasn't expecting much, Kingman ER is notorious for getting bottom of the barrel resident emergency physicians that regardless of compound fractures, swelling and blood, show zero compassion or empathy for patients and assume EVERYONE is after opiates, they didn't 5 care and aren't going to help.I expected that, I also hadn't been to the ER in years so I wasn't a frequent flyer . I ALSO came in knowing these are the exact type that despise patients coming in for dental issues and will do as little as possible to help them, out of resentment and as to not encourage coming in. But after being in agony a few days, being unable to go to a dentist for a few days, concern I hurt myself with ibuprofen and most importantly, not being able to open my both or swallow I went in.

I was really just hoping for some IV antibiotics,I had paid an over the phone dentist the day before for an antibiotic script but couldn't get it yet because I live a few hours from town. At this point I was in a fever dream from the pain, my face was swollen and hot and stomach hurt just as bad from so much ib proffin.

The intake and all nurses couldn't have been more kind and helpful, when you're feeling that way you appreciate that more then usual.

Although it was empty he took his time. Coming in he was standoffish, which was fine. He tells me he's going to prescribe me the same antibiotic I just told him I had waiting at the pharmacy, and then says "you need to eat with the ibuprofen, that's why it's hurting you'(slow clap for this man suddenly curing stomach bleeding from these meds!) he then prescribes me naproxen, basically ibuprofen.

I don't want to refer to him as doctor because he isn't, so I'll say mr.fox- I know it's not just you,a lot of er doctors in low income, high Medicaid /no insurance areas are prejudice about pain relief and dental help, the irony being they need it the most and these "doctors" signed a code of ethics to help people, so let me remind you...

We're not coming in there just in hopes you throw us a measly hydrocodone bone- we're coming in for HELP, for RELIEF that you're supposed to give.

So KINGMAN EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTORS, you're there to HELP PEOPLE. NOT TO STEREOTYPE THEM. It's OBVIOUS when someone's face is swollen, or a bone is broke or they're bleeding that they're in pain, WHY would you withhold them help?

Pain aside, take 5 minutes and give IV antibiotics- it's no skin off your back and you and the hospital get paid, and your patient gets a jump start and relief.or don't freaking sign up to help others and let someone with better character and judgement help-there's NEVER an excuse to allow others to suffer when you have the ability to help them and that's what they came to you for.

My son started having hour long nose bleeds out of the blue. Each time we went to the er they ruled it as allergies and released us. Then one day he fell off a regular dinning room chair and scraped his back, what should have been a little scratch and maybe some redness turned into and immediate purple bruise on his back and one on his head since he hit that when he fell. He developed a deep purple hematoma on the back of his head. I took him to KRMC that night because I was concerned about the bruising. My son was pale, had multiple bruises on him, and as we later came to find out had peticia bruising on his skin, he also was not able to run and was walking with a weird gait. We were taken back to triage relatively quickly considering how busy the er was. I explained what was going on and my concerns to the triage doctor and asked if they could draw blood since there was something going on and I felt it was an emergency. The doctor examined him for less than 10 minutes and said they could do blood work but it would be a waste of there time since this was probably a chronic condition and he would have to see his pediatrician. They said he was fine and released us. The next day my son was still in the same condition so we took him to different er in bullhead where we found out my son was in critical condition and needed and emergency blood transfusion. He was then emergency transported to phoenix where we found out he has cancer and needed two blood transfusions. If the er doctors would have taken the time and done simple blood work like I asked my son could have recieved life saving care sooner. I get that childhood cancer is rare but with the previous nosebleeds this er treated and his severe bruising they should have done blood work and taken more time to examine him and not write him off because there er was full.

Had my mother admitted to this so called hospital through the ER. Complaining of back pain after a nasty fall. They kept her for 2-3 days and stains nothing was broken! Well Hey! She had a broken back in several places! Took her to a real hospital, one with real doctors. This hospital is a joke!

I was here for a college photo shoot, and everyone here was so nice. Security said that I could take photos in a particular spot, and they even came out of the office to watch me do it. They were super interested how I was taking the photos! If I got into a crash, I'd go here!

Attempted to get seen here but it was obvious due to the influx and over flow of people I wouldn’t be seen in a reasonable time. I will simply just suffer or drive to Nevada next time; I suppose that’s my fault for living in a rural community.

If I could give negative stars I would. Was forced to go due to a very minor injury at work 6 months ago. I was told it would go under workers comp and that I wouldn't have to pay it but apparently even with giving them all the correct paperwork for it the hospital never put it under workers comp and I was forced to pay out of pocket 2/22/24 (I have a digital receipt of it). Less than a month late 3/6/24 I got a call saying I still haven't paid my medical bill. Save yourself a headache and don't tell your boss if you get injured at work.
