Went out for salmon with Captain Bill on the Louis E. Captain Bill worked his butt off to keep 6 anglers fishing. Salmon fishing is a subtle science. Captain Bill proved himself to be an expert fisherman. Each of us had an opportunity with a minimum of 3 fish. Getting them in the box depended on the individual's luck and/or skill. Everyone went home happy.
I will definitely ask to go out with Captain Bill again (I've been on his boat 2x)

Gage was the best fishing guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for me as a first time fisherman. Gage took us to the best spots and was very friendly. He answered all of my annoying questions with a smile.

Went out on a half day salmon fishing trip aboard the Lewis E. Had a great time and was able to take some fresh caught salmon home !

Capt. Kelly of Big Fish is definitely a little green when it comes to salmon fishing, but I have no doubt he’ll get it figured out in the next year or so. Great conversation and a good salmon dip.

The people, both native Alaskans and seasonal, are absolutely some of the most friendly people on the planet. They don't just want you to enjoy your experience, but they want to share what they love about Alaska with everyone with whom they come in contact.

The Wife and I went salmon fishing with Captain Rusty Boatright (yes, a boat captain named Boatright), and we had a great time. We were only out for a few hours, and if you've ever been fishing...well, you know how that can go. A few of us caught some King Salmon, and I'm sure we all had a great time.

We noticed that when we saw the North Pacific Humback Whales that the fish would bite. BUT......we saw a pod of Orcas and THAT was way more impressive in my mind and experience than anything else.

Had a great time fishing, but a few hours just isn't long enough. So, here's our suggestion: if you go fishing for King Salmon, go on or after 15 June. Why? It's catch and release before, and Knudson Cove is the King Salmon capital of the world. Go on an all day excursion. Get them shipped to your home. Cook, and enjoy.

Oh, and The Wife said for all you ladies to request a yacht service so you can stay inside and watch TV and stay warm and something about YOLO. But, I don't know.

Nice chill spot, grab a beer, sit on the deck and watch the fisherman come and go. Decent little coffee shop with some eats.

After trip booked by Carnival, was told a little early in the season. Captain ok, but no chance of keeping anything. Dock store has gifts but no prices on anything so never sure if the cashier know what the price really is.

Incredible day fishing with Carlo on the Bwana! Silvers and King Salmon. Carlo worked hard to make sure everybody got a shot at pulling in the big one! Best day fishing with our besties from Arkansas, and we made a pact to go back next year too. We'll be hope to get with Carlo again! Yep, we came back for more with Carlo and here's a nice Pink. Next year we want all day.
