This is a great hotel. I was on vacation with my family and everyone loved it. The staff was extremely helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the quiet time is from 2200-0600. I was trying to go to sleep at 2100(9pm) and kids upstairs were running around in the room upstairs. I still highly recommend this place for anyone that is able to stay on base.

This hotel was passed down from navy, which is no suprise, and they have done a great job revamping it. It's clean, the staff are friendly and the property is actually very nice. Just as everything the Corps has, it has its problems too, and despite several little hiccups that I experienced, I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were spacious, perhaps more so than civilian hotels that I've experienced. The room had a standard TV, microwave, mini fridge, iron w/ ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc.
In the common areas, they had laundry facilities, a grill, outside seating area, multiple business offices, and vending machines. Ice machines, mini mart(drinks, ice creams, snacks, and USMC memorabilia), and across the street and basketball court, kids playground, walking track, and picnic tables. They also serve complimentary breakfast every morning.
The hiccup that the hotel faced while I was there was a water cooler in the main hall that broke and leaked. The issue we faced was the room we were in popped circuit in the circuit breaker and it took over a day to fix it, which the fix took all of 2 seconds, so not having electricity for a day was very inconvenient. The front desk tried to accommodate by giving a tiny discount, which I appreciate, but it was just a fuzzy transaction. Overall, I would most definitely stay in an Inn of the Corps again!

Wonderful, friendly staff! Clean rooms. Pleasant stay. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed breakfast all three days. The best was definitely Saturday with a self-service waffle ? bar… and of course, bacon. ? ?

The two queen bed rooms are bright, clean, and have your standard mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. We also used the coin laundry (located in the main building), which was a huge plus.

It’s close to the commissary, exchange, and 20 mins to your typical San Diego attractions.

This last Feb I stayed for a week. I had to get a double bed because of no single beds. I put my bags and clothes on one bed. When I left i put my dirty clothes in the plastic laundry bag provided. When I got home, a few days later I did laundry and discovered bed bugs. I spoke with management and I perceived a lackadaisical attitude, like they have been aware of it. That means those things lay eggs in the carpet and under the bed. The bed bugs hide in the seems of the bedding. They are very difficult to get rid of. Most of the time the bed bug spray cans do not work. My room number was 101, first floor.

Mrs. Amber provided great customer service and went above-and-beyond to ensure I had a great stay. This location is exceptionally clean and conveniently located close to everything: Gym, Commissary, Tropical Smoothie, etc... The room was spacious and had a nice balcony! Mrs. Amber was AWESOME and a great Ambassador for the company!! 5 Star!!!!
