Really cool vibe, Victorian accommodation, great staff would definitely stay again. Big Tub, dance floor, quiet breakfast room with interesting conversation. French press coffee press, lovely bedding. Clean and homey. It was like a step back in time....|Would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay while exploring the redwoods.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Inn at 2nd & C. I wish we had more time there. It was a look in to the past. The building is a beauty! We were traveling the coast to So Cal & stayed many places. The bed at this inn was the best of our trip. The water pressure & shower were fabulous. The staff was excellent, very friendly. Wonderful choices for dinner within walking distance (we went to Five Eleven). Take a minute to suck in some history, go visit Blue Ox & the Carson Mansion

I’m a local and I decided to stay in one of the small rooms as it was just myself for one night. Having been to the hotel on a number of occasions before, I was excited to actually stay the night and I’m so glad I did! The hotel itself has so much charm and character. The room was bigger than I thought it would be, with a queen size bed, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a stand up shower. The front desk was friendly and check in and check out were smooth. I liked the fact that the hotel offers free parking and included breakfast. Also, because there was nothing going on in the ballroom the night I stayed there (the room faces the ballroom, one floor above it), it was so quiet (which I loved as I’m a light sleeper). I highly recommend staying here and I will for sure be staying again!

The king suite that we reserved way exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable for entertaining our friends during the redwood coast music festival. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We loved watching all the dancers from the balcony outside of our room. We loved it so much that we have already booked it for next year‘s festival. Can’t wait!!

Such an interesting and quirky hotel. Our room was amazing! Spacious and interesting with a neat mix of period furniture. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the few times we needed anything the service was excellent. Some very cool common spaces in the hotel as well.

This will be one of the more interesting hotels you stay in!

I chose this inn for its unique charm for my family vacation. We had a mixture of hotels, and airbnbs on our ten day Northern California tour, and I wanted to take advantage of the bed and breakfast feel. Unfortunately, my planning on our trip landed us at the inn during Thanksgiving and we didn’t get to enjoy the ambiance of the events, dining or many people around the inn during our stay.
Nonetheless, Victoria at the desk, was exceptional upon our arrival and gave us phenomenal recommendations for the area in regards to dining and entertainment. We did not utilize housekeeping during our stay as it was the holiday, but the King suite was well stocked. I absolutely adored the hauntingly dark charm of this inn, and I feel the owners have mixed old and new very well. The only thing I would say as a few others have stated is the evening noise is loud outside the windows. We were on the third floor and had our windows cracked because the room was warmer than we like, and there were unhoused people shouting throughout the night. The second night, we put in ear plugs and background white noise and it helped.
On another note, in the King suite, the bed, pullout couch, and pillows were very comfy. We would definitely recommend staying here for the unique flavor it offers.
