I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Oroville, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. Their friendliness and professionalism truly set the tone for my stay.

Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, including recommendations for local dining options. The housekeeping team maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel, and it was evident that they take great pride in their work.

The breakfast each morning was a delightful surprise—fresh, varied, and delicious! The staff in the breakfast area were attentive, always ensuring the food was thoroughly enjoyed and the space was tidy.

Additionally, the hotel amenities were top-notch. The pool area was well-maintained, and the fitness center had all the equipment I needed for a good workout.

Overall, the exemplary performance of the entire staff made my stay at Holiday Inn Express Oroville truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area; you won’t be disappointed!

Disappointed

I wish I could give this hotel 5 stars but I can’t. I travel a lot for my work so I stay in a lot of hotels
Staff was not inviting and I felt more like a unwanted guest than a welcome traveler
Mgmt needs to work with city government about the unhoused population. they are all around the hotel making it an uncomfortable feeling if you need to go outside at night.
Staff needs to be educated on how to greet guest with a service animal and don’t assume they need a handicap room just because they have a service animal.
Mgmt needs to provide a smoke break area for their employees and guest that smoke away from their front door so guest don’t have to walk through their smoke
And mgmt needs to work with their staff on looking professional and not like they just rolled out of bed to go to work.
There were a few positives with my stay I do want to mention the room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in
The bathroom was clean but the tub probably needs to be on the remodel isn’t as the finishing is cracking
And it would be nice to have it posted on the website that their pool was drained for maintenance

The hotel is well located. The wifi was sow and the swim jacuzzi was in repair. The parking is limited.. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. The lobby mbathroom you need a key from the front desk.
