We had a hard time finding a room since it was so late but we called them up and 15 minutes later we were in our room. The family that owns this motel are very friendly and helpful. Even got breakfast at their Cafe (with a discount) that is right across the parking lot and I will say it was yummy. The room was nice and comfortable. Wish we could of stayed longer and explored but we will be going back.

We stayed at this sweet motel for 2 nights with our 4 year old and small dog. It was very clean and safe with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and even gave us s’mores ingredients when we went down to hang around the fire pit. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed here a couple of nights during a trip to the Redwood forest this summer. It was one of only a few options near friends we were visiting who where camping the Smith forest. It was as perfectly fine with a good sized room, passable A/C and a decent shower. The person at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Only 18 rooms (no 13). It does a fire each night with S'Mores and games to play. It has an excellent diner/breakfast, lunch place right next door. It's a couple of hours from Medford and a good stop before you get to Crescent City. If we are back that way, we would definitely stay there again.

This is an older Motel but spotlessly clean and quiet (despite being 50 feet from the highway) with double pane windows, micro and small frig, a VERY comfortable mattress and a practically silent AC system. The fire pit is a nice addition. There is no elevator or breakfast served. The cafe next door is only open 7AM -2 PM, so bring your own dinner or drive to Crescent City. There is a mini mart with limited food selections across the street.

Checked in last minute, late on a Saturday night, helpful receptionist on phone and in person. Cozy clean room with very nice big bathroom! Room came with discount to brunch the next morning, just across the parking lot! Pleasant little area overall!

I stayed at the Hiouchi Motel for a week and I was so relaxed and comfortable! The location is amazing a great trail near by, the river is in walking distance! Can’t say enough! The staff is top notch and goes out of their way to make all guests comfortable! I will definitely stay here again!!

Stayed here for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. I have no words other than it was great, the customer service is so spectacular it doesn’t even seem like customer service. Bed was really comfy, room was clean, the fire pit and s’mores was such a nice added touch. The cafe next door was delicious, definitely recommend stopping there at least once.
