Best decision I ever made was moving my loved one out of this facility! They ran out of their medications so many times and even Administered medications they shouldn’t have been taking, Not just once but multiple times!! You absolutely have to micromanage the facility just to get the basic services completed Laundry wasn’t being done. Food quality went from good to terrible. Billing statements are not transparent. The amount of citations they have been issued by state licensing is insane for facility that has been open for less than two years. It sure is a shiny pretty package on the outside, but the problems they have inside go on and on. I’d say as an independent living facility it’s got the bells and whistles…. As soon as you need any type of assisted or memory care, I’d run for the door!

The place is terrible for my grandmother. The staff and especially the boss (Kayla I think?) and how she treats the staff is heard by residence and it's really concerning. I can't wait to get my grandma out of there as she seems to be deteriorating at a faster pace with all the unnecessary drama. My hope is that whoever owns the building find a different director that is kind and knows what he/she is doing

Noisy dining room. Roxanne and other servers drop dishes in tub loudly. Teddy repairing chair feet with hammer, with four tables still eating. Both oblivious to noise that would put another restaurant out of business. Acoustics in dining room doesn't help matters.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY UNLESS YOU ARE GOOD WITH MICRO MANAGING THE CAREGIVERS AND MED TECHS WHO CANT SEEM TO GET IT TOGETHER. My husband was one of the first people in this new facility. He has been there for about a year+ now. I have had nothing but problems. My husbands medicines have run out, not giving him the correct meds, not giving him his meds at all. I have turned them into the State twice. I could certainly file another claim for messing up his meds. Again. My husband is coherent. The people up in memory care are having the same medication issues, but they can’t advocate for themselves, so you better be prepared to have to double check everything! When I called and turned them into the state the first time, I was one of 5 other complaints levied against them. They have a huge turn over in staff. My husband has gone hours with no one checking on him. The nice, shiny things on the inside, is where the good about this facility ends. Management lacks the necessary experience and will do everything they can to avoid you when you do have an issue. I have had problems with them billing our long term healthcare company. My absolute biggest complaint is the caregiving and medication dispensing. Don’t even get me started on dining/food at this facility. Ugh.

Dinning Room service has improved in last month due to the diligence of Sabrina and staff. Prior to our new dinning room manager.
Food improving and the Salad bar is greatly appreciated.
I enjoy living here. Our Activity Director is Fabulous.

I only gave one star because I couldn't post with no stars. Memory care is attroshis! Completely understaffed and undertrained staff. Staff members are frustrated and angry about their working conditions. Probably not even legal. Residence wander unsupervised. Very high fall rate which are rarely reported. My mother is now dying as a result of a fall here. My mother found lying in and covered in her waste for an extended length of time more than once and have heard the same of other residence. Miss management of medications has occurred repeatedly. A few staff members are great, but far and few between.

I have had my mother living at Hilltop Springs since they opened. She started out in "independent" living and since has moved to assisted living. In each place she has had fantastic care. I've yet to find a staff person who wasn't friendly and willing to help. I put a great deal of support when staff is helpful and friendly.

The entire environment is pleasant and the activities are endless. The availability of good food is endless.

I give my highest possible recommendation to Hilltop Springs, staff and Heather Newcome, who is the GM.

From the very moment I signed my mother up to live at Hilltop Springs, long before the building was ready I have been so pleased.
The wonderful luncheons, outings, the moving in process has all been handled with such professionalism and concern for her well being. She was originally in Independent living and now is in Assisted Living. That transition went very smoothly and we are pleased with her care. Thank you so much for always being attentive to her needs and concerns.
