Stayed in one of their hotels that was dirty, moldy, bug infested. Torn carpets, drapes. Stains on furniture. I had booked a handicapped room. Got regular room. Was told stay or don't. You still will be charged as there is 48hours cancellation notice! I called and complain. The manager never called back and the corporate office you can not get thru on

We stayed here on January 2nd & 3rd 2019 only because there was no place else in Chico available and we had to meet w/ the insurance inspector to inspect our home for damage due to the Camp-Fire in Paradise.

The place is a Hell Hole:

1. Never Any Manager: On the 2nd & 4th the desk clerk was Prabhjot. She was VERY Nice, but apparently had no authority to help us or make improvements. She requested maid service after she inspected the room, but the request was totally ignored.

2. 2nd night, Jan. 3rd: Three 20-something males in the office sitting chatting - personal conversation. Lousy attitudes, uncaring young males running place. When I asked the young male at the desk to inspect the room, he came w/ another young male to check-out room we showed them the damage...

We were asked if we wanted to leave, while the room was cleaned: There was no place to go, we had just spent 9+ hours w/ the insurance inspector @ a fire-damaged house! We asked to stay while the room was cleaned (but we were ignored), but the maintenance worker did bring two hand towels, but no wash cloths.

We were told by the two young males: "I'm new here & this isn't my job. This is a nice room, I'd stay here, this is better than other places I've stayed."

When I said to him: I understand that this isn't your job" He accused me of "patronizing him" and left...

3. Only staff were 3 young people running the place & they had no authority.

4. Our original booking for a 2 queen room was unavailable (it had been trashed the previous night) so we were moved to a room with 2 Full-beds: TRASHED too!

5. FILTHY: Bed skirts askew & ripped

6. Tub tile grout black; We did not get to shower, we used the sink for a sponge bath

7. Door jambs filthy

8. Curtain tops, filthy

9. Picture tops, smoke alarm tops FILTHY

10. Phone missing buttons

11. Lampshades torn

12. Sheets had holes

13. Heater got warm but turned automatically to cold air to cool when temperature was reached

14. No wash cloths, 1 hand towel

15: Requested service- IGNORED

16. Coffee/shampoo not replaced

17. Trash never emptied

18. Bathroom floor sticky; tile around toilet black

19. NO Wi-Fi, could not contact family or order dinner

20. At 8:30 am: Breakfast only had 1 still frozen mcmuffin, cereal, & bread available

21. 2nd night locked out of room

No Manager Anywhere Ever;

No one should have to pay for rooms like this or put up w/ staff who do not know/refuse to do their jobs... In fact, that there was No Manager Anywhere, tells me that whoever owns this motel doesn't give a damn & needs to be replaced and the Managers & Maids need to be FIRED!

The biggest problem with this hotel group is their phone line has no direct contact to leave a message for or speak to. I had a horrible experience with one of the staff members at their San Diego location and I believe a company should be transparent in communication especially in regards to an employee working for them that is suffering from serious mental illness. I had booked a hotel on booking.com and when I arrived the woman that I spoke with was very hostile.
