I finally move out from my trailer rental space after several years. My trailer has been broken into twice when it was parked next to the office building/garage. This is the two story building where the staff live in. During both break ins they had cameras and it still didn't matter. I relize the managers change over time. New walls and cameras don't matter for security...

Owner is rude and uneducated.

Went in looking for biodegradable packing peanuts and was told that she recommends using bubble wrap because 'PLASTIC bubble wrap is better for the environment rather than using BIODEGRADABLE packing peanuts'. Are you serious.... Smh. Absolutely idiotic and she clearly needs to go back and get her GED. I can not believe she has the audacity to perpetuate a lie such as this to her customers.

I run my own business specializing in Natural and Environmentally friendly products/packaging. The lady continued to argue with me that I was wrong and then used the excuse that 'U-haul products are too expensive'. Then why in the world do you work with U-haul only to bad mouth the company? Plus it is my right to spend the amount I want to on their products which U-haul has pretty much the BEST price out there for biodegradable packing peanuts. I switched over to them because of their price being better/them doing a way better job at keeping my products safer than bubble wrap. PLUS THEY ARE BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

Beware that the lady also uses her tiny store as a daycare. There must have been a minimum of five kids running around being disruptive. The kids and her looked like they haven't bathed in days and I had to run straight home to shower after leaving their store. Very unprofessional.

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I also noticed that the lady gave herself five stars on here. As a business owner myself - who does that!?! It's absolutely pathetic and shows how much she needs to give herself good reviews to have a descent rating. Personally, I now wonder about the authenticity of her other reviews that are above a one star rating.

Found what I needed at another store with no help from this lady who flat out refused to tell me who else may carry the packing peanuts that I needed. Probably in hopes I would just buy her plastic and non biodegradable bubble wrap.

In short - If you want to be treated like scum, receive no help whatsoever, feel dirty, talked down to, lied to, have your IQ level drop a level, etc... Then this is the place for you! I look forward to seeing her rebuttal that will most definitely be filled with lies and misinformation.

Im absolutely pleased with this storage place . People are cool. It’s clean hours are reasonable. Prices are reasonable.

As the manager of Greenfield Self Storage and U-Haul I am writing this rebuttal in regards to a comment posted. A customer was dissatisfied with U-Haul in regards to turning in a truck. According to U-Haul rules and regulations the equipment is required to be turned in at the same time it was rented. On this day I stayed open after business hours to accommodate this customer. The customer was an hour late and therefore according to U-Haul rules the equipment was charged for a second day. As with any company there are always going to be a dissatisfied customer. Our clientele is extremely happy with our business and we are informed of this on a daily basis. Our rental rates for our storage facility are equal to or competitive with the surrounding facilities. Please feel free to stop by and say "HI".

The place is small and located in the middle of nowhere. We were here to pick up a U-Haul that was reserved ahead of time. We told the lady that my friend was moving from King City to Monterey and probably wouldn't return the truck until after hours. The manager suggested returning in Monterey because it would be more convenient, plus it would cost less because we wouldn't use up more mileage driving all the way back to Greenfield. She was very friendly and helpful.

I see all of the negative reviews and I have to give my 2 cents. These people are reasonable and helpful. I have yet to encounter a problem with any of my units. They have a grace period for those of us that are sometimes late and they will really work with you. I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. Thanks GF storage. Oh! And congrats on your fleet of uhuals!!

Unfortunately, after a couple of years working with this FAMILY.... I ended up getting burned bad. While my Father lay bedridden dying, my Wife and I were stuck taking turns providing 24/7 care. My step-daughter threatened to sue Melody if Melody DID NOT take my Wife's payment info off of GSS auto pay feature. Needless to say my Wife and I lost ALL of OUR posession's. Our computers were in there which contained sensitive information about me and my Family. Our identities are at-risk, our Safety, and Mental State are compromised. I NEVER got a Proof of Service or Certified letter which is required by CA. STATE LAW. I am forced to have to contact the D.A.C.A.U. I wish I didn't have to but, they DO NOT want to settle with me.

Other than that. This Business has the Value for your budget, security is awesome. If your bill is paid on time, and LIFE does not happen to you. You will be fine. SC
