Really old and in need of updating. Our room was small and cramped. Furniture looked thrown together randomly like the table and chairs were from a restaurant that went out of business. Cleanliness could have been better. For the price ($$$$) not worth it since it feels like a motel. Only good things about the place are the location and the staff was nice.

I recently stayed at a this hotel in Catalina Island and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is absolutely awesome. Being so close to the beach and various attractions made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. The staff was equally impressive; they always had a smile on their face and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We were even able to check in early, which was a nice touch.

However, the hotel rooms could use some upgrades. The rooms felt quite old and in need of modernization. The locks on the doors are outdated, and the toilets also show their age. Adjusting the AC control was a bit frustrating as it took some time to take effect after changing the settings. Additionally, there were not enough power outlets, which made charging our devices a bit challenging.

Overall, while the location and staff were fantastic, the hotel would greatly benefit from some updates to the rooms and facilities.

The images depicting this hotel are gross misrepresentations. Our accommodations consisted of a small room with an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urine, and the bathroom was noticeably unclean. While the hotel's proximity to the beach and the courteous front desk staff are commendable, those seeking a satisfactory lodging experience would be advised to look elsewhere.

Ride Up

The staff was very kind and attentive, but I will give two stars for the facilities; the room is based on what you pay, but the following is not acceptable:
- Strong smell of marijuana, the management crew should ensure that the rooms are truly clean before assigning them.
- Strong smell of dog poop, the carpet had a foul odor of dog feces in room 101.
- The worst part of it all was the bed: very uncomfortable, to the point that I returned with back pain and had to go to the chiropractor to relieve the back pain after sleeping there for two nights.

Thank you, Sam. Thank you, Jim, for being attentive. This complaint is directed towards the hotel owners, urging them to invest in furniture and better accommodation for the guests.

Took a trip out to the island and booked a room for 2 nights. Great location the room was awesome, clean, big soft bed. Haley and jimmy were helpful, respectful & kind. Great hotel.

I loved my stay here!! My friend and I went for an overnight trip and decided to get a room with two beds. When checking in, Denise saw it was my birthday on my ID and upgraded us to a balcony room. I was so touched! Every conversation we had with her was so thoughtful. The room was very spacious, and breakfast on the balcony was beautiful. The staff and Denise were extremely helpful when it came to offering extra toiletries, towels and water. They also have storage for your luggage if you arrive early or stay late. Overall, a wonderful stay!!
